Qbs are a roll of the dice

Purdy was basically a 150 passer rating qb throughout college. That's nothing spectacular, but here he is playing well in the nfl.
Until we find a real qb, maybe we should take one every draft at some point.

The afc championship is pedigree guys... both in top half of 1st round. In the nfc, the 3 qbs still alive are 2nd, 4th, and 7th round guys.

Saints FO will never identify a Purdy in the draft.
Based upon their past QB talent evaluation and development(Grayson, Book), I don’t have much faith in them.

If I was coach Allen , I would pay attention to the QBs in the upcoming XFL and USFL games this off season in addition to drafting a QB.
Who knows, might hit on one.

Draft 2 rookie Qbs (throughout the draft, maximum of 1 in the first 3 rounds) every year until we have a franchise QB

Dont forget about the CFL. Nathan Rourke had a great season in BC then signed with the jags for the playoffs so he'll be a free agent. Can't be worse that Dalton

I think it’s more than just a roll of the dice. And I like Purdy, but he wouldn’t be this successful on a team like Washington or Indianapolis or Houston.

They are but.... looking back, it is ashame the Saints didn't offer a Mike Ditka type trade for Burrow in 2020. He is a once in a decade or two QB.
