I know I will get crushed by the Rattler truthers and folks that think he is our franchise guy, but he is very much the reason that we currently have no wins.

This team is 0-4 and in 3 of those games, had drives in the 4th quarter to take lead or at very least tie. As bad as we think this team is overall, that is crazy to me to think we could legitimately be 2-2 maybe even 3-1 with a better QB at the helm.

Some might say, "Well we wouldn't be in that position if Rattler didn't keep us in the game and play well." And while that is partially true, I do not want a QB to keep us in games. I want a QB to WIN us games.

Rattler NEEDS to be the reason we WIN games. Being the reason "we are not losing games" is such a weak and soft argument. This team has played well enough to at the very least have won at least one game. We are being held back by a guy who is 0-10 as a QB in this league. Quit defending him.

No it's not.

QB plan isn't great but affecting the opposing QB is the #1 problem on this team, and pass protection is the main problem on offense.

Read the room he’s a fifth round pick from one year ago and is playing in the second system in two years with two coordinators. It’s OK if you prefer to change quarterbacks at some point, but neither one of these guys should be the one winning games for our team right now.

There's one game we should have won, or at least taken to overtime. And that was decidedly NOT because of Rattler. If anything he gave us a chance.

the front 7 on defense is a huge liability, and we need another OLman. If you can parlay a #1 pick into two of those guys, top ten, you have to do it. We can limp along at QB for another year, or bring in a bad organization's throw-away. Look at what Daniel Jones has done in Indy

If I'm the Saints, I'm looking to find a way to get two lineman or an OL/LB in the top 10-15. Then a big body WR in the early 2nd (Carnell Tate?)

If im the Saints, Im not looking to upgrade QB in the draft.
Im looking at DE, OL,DL, CB, OLB, OL, WR, RB

Most TEs take time to develope. Better to pick up a FA who is experienced.
DL could turn the defense around, either a DE or DL. OLB could make a big splash on D as well. But CB should be the high prority.

QB is not the main reason Saints are losing.
It is a reason. But not the biggest reason.

Look at Baw Nix, Dude has good OL, great RBs, Big Bodied WRs that can catch. Catch contested passes as well. I dont think he is a great QB. But SP is getting the most out of him and elevating his game.

As for Rattler, he does enough. But doesnt have any help. To win with this montley crew the Saints put together. Saints need a great supporting team.

Saints dont have it.

QB and Edge are always positions that you don't pass talent up if you ain't got damn near all pro players at.

CB/WR/Guard is our next biggest need.

Edge is wildly more predictable than QB.

He has had every opportunity to win game(s) and has not seized that opportunity.

Its time for the other guy to get his.

I could care less about winning games. Dude is getting more comfortable every week. He’s not turning the ball over. He’s got more tds in four games than he did all of last year.

I can't wait to see if Rattler can go winless the rest of the year.
I don't need to see anymore to know that Rattler is not the future at QB for the Saints but keep wishing he has a breakthrough or realize it's time to see what Shough can do before you get to the draft.
I guess Moore is waiting until the bye to make that change.

I would only slightly argue that I guess predictability is fair BUT the predictability is so dependent for a qb on numerous other aspects of the organisation. skill position talent, offensive line, Coaching, Health of Roster, Scheme fit etc...

in fairness, noone here thinks Rattler is the future - backup, sure - but not the future.....BUT, the fact we have had shite Oline for 2 years, it doesn't matter who you put back there, they aren't gonna be very good.

For the life of me I can't understand all the Rattler supporters. I don't care about winning games this year or next year, but we have a roster to build and that includes QB. Rattler misses easy throws consistently and I don't want to hear it's the Oline or receivers fault. HE IS WHAT HE IS A BACKUP. Shough has got to play so we can see if he is something we can build around or we have to find someone else. And don't tell me he's no better than Rattler because nobody knows until we see him play games in live competition.

there's still 13 games left in season. chill a tad. You are helping Shough by waiting until he's more ready to showcase his skill set with the most confidence.

Personally I’m just lookin to get the absolute best player we can regardless of position. If that’s QB, I’ll take it.

The 40th pick unable to unseat 5th rd Rattler is more of a problem than Rattler

They were pretty damn even there at the end. I think it was more that they didn't want to throw Shough into the fire, especially those first 4 games, with Penning, Moreau, Taysom etc all being out.

If Shough doesn't start in the next 2-3 weeks I will concede defeat on the issue
