Address 2 biggest needs with 2 instant starters. Both positions would be pricey to address in FA. Good drafting.

Yep. Two elite talents at positions of need. Grade A first round.

I'd give it a B plus A minus maybe. I felt like Olave was a reach. I liked his mentality in the interview though. I though the kid from Penn was a little better and would've been there without trading up.

had to trade up the way the draft was going. Kid from Penn state is good, but he is build like Devontay harris, small and light.

It's all a crapshoot, Loomis and Ireland thought it was worth it. Will be interesting to see how he works out. I'm have more faith in the Saints front office then your feelings.

Gave up way to much between the phili trade and Washington trade to get Olave. Better be productive first round for all we invested

This. Could have had the Arkansas WR by just staying out at 16, then getting LT at 19. I think Olave will be good too but we have up way too much to move up 5 spots.

Olave is a better fit for what we needed at the position. Someone who can get separation consistently and burn defenses over the top.

Thought the same thing. I thought Dotson and Chris were to close to call.
Dotson is 1" shorter. Keep ur 3 and 4 for #2 RB and best TE.
Gave up a ton for Chris but hey we know he is good buy great, we will see.
At least they helped Winston with another explosive receiver.
Him, Thomas, and Hardy can blow shite up. Two deep threats now.

Olave can also play special teams. He’ll be a contributor from the start. As a receiver he’s silky smooth. He’s been a joy to watch.
