Despite the result of the Suoer Bowl; I think the only real thing that could show any legitimacy in this whole mess would be for fans to keep pushing until something is done about the officials involved including the VP of officiating. If there are no consequences for how the NFC Chanpionship was handled, this league has proven that it is a joke.

They should be fired and any of us would lose our jobs if we performed with “human error” in our jobs the way they did.

Let’s see what happens but I hope the press keeps up the pressure.

Should have had their public hanging for a halftime show.

Keep the pressure on until at least there’s an investigation. Everything about this, screams collusion.

As much as it sucks, you really cannot do anything about this. The NFL is an entertainment business, there are no checks and balances on the individuals with the most power. All about the $

It seems that the entertainment classification is what should be challenged.
That alone should scare everyone away from ever gambling another penny on it.
Has the NFL ever been classified as a competitive sport?

If it weren't for gambling the NFL would have gone the way of XFL a very long time ago. When crap like this happens it seems like a crapshoot to gamble on but there are situations where it's very profitable. You can't predict officiating or turnovers but there are signs that point to an easy winner on some games.

Call your Congressman.

No way that happens without a Congressional hearing.

Congressman will be bought and paid for by the NFL if it ever got that far. The league is telling the world they don't care and people still want something to get done. This will keep happening because the NFL has designed itself this way.

The fact that the crew has not already been punished tells you all you need to know.

Accountability of Officiating is the issue that needs to be part of the NFL. At the very least, 3 refs need to be fired or , at least, suspended for a year, and this move needs to be made public. Failure to do this, exposes the NFL to legitimate corruption claims.

We don't know if they have been fined. I'm sure the NFL doesn't want a public spectacle of firing 3 officials during SB week. It would legitimize the fraud angle. I have to believe 2 or 3 of the NFC championship officials will be fired. The referee in the tuck rule game never called another Raider football game. Riveron needs to go too.

I'm just disgusted this morning. I didn't watch the game because I refused to watch after the NFCCG abortion.

But I checked the box score after the game and read a thorough recap. Brees would have eaten the Pats' zone D alive. We'd have won by 10-14 points. We'd be Champions again.

frick Goodell and frick the League.

I mean a 10-year old could have called PI on that. How are the best officials not able to?

How they still are able to retain their jobs after that is beyond my comprehension.
