I would rather Trask or Ehlinger in 3rd or 4th round.

I'm aware that's a possibility, no strong feelings from a negative perspective

Ehlinger us worth a pick late in Draft. Four year starter at Texas who is athletic like Taysom. You could design offense around Tayson and have a back up in place who can run the same offensive game plan.

The NFL is a copy Cat league and someone is going to Draft Ehlinger to get Taysom Hill 2.0 except Ehlinger is a better passer than Taysom was comming out of BYU.

Sam has remained healthy and played in many more games throughout his collage career then Taysom did at BYU.

From McShay this AM:

What about beyond those five? Two people from around the league indicated a growing interest in Stanford's Davis Mills. One even said that if there is a surprise pick in Round 1, it could be Mills. But it's clear that there is more love for Mills than many people thought, which is surprising for a guy who only started 11 games in college.

There is not a pick in this draft that ~10% at a minimum wouldnt melt over.

If Davis Mills have had the more "proven production" in his collegiate career, then he wouldn't even be an option at 1.28.

I’d be surprised if Ehlinger was drafted before the 6th round. His arm is terrible to the point that you really wouldn’t be drafting him to be anything but a gimmick player. Taysom Hill’s passing ability looks like John Elway compared to Ehlinger.

I’d melt if we took him with one of our third rounders much less in the first.....

My 2 cents, but I seriously doubt we take a QB. We'll be in a much better position to do so next year if, as so many people on this board assure us, Winston and hill aren't the answer. Better to stock up the cupbvoard on skill pieces so the next kid who comes in (IF Winston/Hill suck) isn't marching out onto the field with nothing but his dick in his hand.

I could see them taking a developmental project in the 3rd or 4th is one of Mond, Mills, or Trask falls.
