I truly see a 3-14 or 4-13 season.

The most Saints thing would be to start 2-1 and then shite the bed against the Falcons so I’m thinking 2-3

W (1-0) in Wk1 vs Panthers. 20-16. The game that won't be as close as the score suggests. Panthers score on their first or second possession largely due to a big/busted play then slow to their expected low quality play after that settling for FGs, unless their D or ST gets a score. Saints will manage just a FG in the early going then settle in. Should get the W without showing too much on offense.

W (2-0) in Wk2 at Cowboys. 24-23. Will be a close game! Saints will have to show off their improved run game & clock management here. Time of possession will be key here. Need to get out ahead early & stay ahead to avoid 30+ passes so that Micah Parsons doesn't wreak havoc on rookie LT Fuaga and struggling Penning RT. Taysom Hill will have 100+ rushing yards. Gameplan will likely include a bunch of variations of screens to RB/TE/WRs and other quick 3 step drops to counter Parsons pash rush. We'll get a good look at if Carr can be that timing & rhythm passer here.

L (2-1) in Wk3 vs Eagles. 20-27. Hurts continues to kill us with his running ability which opens up their passing game to be effective at the right times, basically mirroring our offensive gameplan against the Cowboys the week prior. Our run game does okay, but we get down early and have to lean on passing game which will struggle against Eagles pass rush, particularly up the middle this game, and our lack of playmakers at TE/WR costs us for the first time.

L (2-2) in Wk4 at Falcons. 14-24. Bijan Robinson & Kyle Pitts both have huge games and for the second week in a row our run D is porous. Again lack of playmakers at TE/WR proves costly. Run game will struggle in this one. Carr will try and force passes later on as offense struggles to try & take a chance to produce points but will have a bad game with 2 INTs, resulting in fans starting the rally cry for Rattler.

W (3-2) in Wk5 at Chiefs. 31-27. Carr & Saints offense bounce back and gets clicking. Carr spreads the ball around hitting 8 different pass catchers. Kamara has his first 100+ yard rushing game and Saints get first glimpse at what Mason Tipton can really do. Saints lead early and control most of the game. Chase Young has his coming out party with 2 sacks and consistent pressure. Bresee gets a sack & multiple pressures. Alontae Taylor has a great game and gets a pick off Mahomes early.

After 5 week stats;
Carr 68% completion, 7TD-4INT, and 1,3820 yards.
Kamara averaging 3.9ypc, 2TD
Hill averaging 4.6ypc, 2TD, 1 fumble

Olave 2TDs
Shaheed 1TD
Tipton 1TD
Moreau 1TD
Kamara 1TD
Hill 1TD

Chase Young has 3 sacks
Bresee has 2 sacks
Jordan has 1 sack
Shepherd & Turner each have 0.5

Only game I feel kinda decent about is the panther game. Likely lose the rest of those first 5.

Panthers- Dub cause it's the Panthers
At Cowboys- L but it'll be close
Eagles- L, big L
at Falcons- L, battle as always
at Chiefs- umm yeah L

1-4 is my guess.

The next 6 leading up to bye will be much more in our favor.
Tampa, Denver, Chargers, Carolina, ATL, and Cleveland

We go into the bye 5-6 before it all falls apart.

Saints are only -4 against Carolina, in other words Vegas has the Saints as 1 pt better on a neutral site. Chew on that with the state of the Allen and Loomis regime.

2-3 is my expectation.

Wouldn't be shocked if 1-4
Would be excited if we could sneak away 3-2

If we can go 2-3 then I think 8-9 or 9-8 is attainable. But if we start 1-4 then it will be a long season. That’s why week 1 vs Carolina is so important for us. Week 1 is always crazy, never know what can happen-remember week 1 in 2018 vs the Bucs? Don’t think the eagles or Dallas are as good as they were last year-hopefully we can win one of those.

I don't really think is matters what the record will be because you guys are just here to complain and and be miserable people.

Having said that I say 3-2

They lose to the Cowboys and Chiefs and come close to losing to the Falcons but Grupe saves the day raining on yalls pity party.
