Prayers for Taysom, that looked gruesome.

Broken leg it appeared. Man that was a fricked up low hit. Now we are really screwed with Taysom done for the year. Hope he heals up and comes back good as new next year but that was a bad one.

He may call it a career after that. If I was his teammate I would be going after 14 right now. Chicken sheet tackle.

If it's a break, he'll be able to come back better than an ACL in my opinion. Bones heal better at 34 than ligaments.

No it wasn’t. 14 was trying to do his job and tackle the runner who was obviously defending himself. Blame the league for being so strict with targeting penalties that defenders just dive at knees.

That’s what i said when it happened. It looked like a break to me the way his leg bent so hopefully it’s that and not a knee ligament. Taysom has already had 3 ACL surgeries I think.

Did the striped lemmings call a penalty on the piece of trash that hit him? I refuse to watch another second of the Aints this year so I didn't see. I'm guessing they didn't tho.

Went out after incredible game. Can’t see him playing again.

That's terrible. What a bullshite way to try to tackle.
Maybe Taysom can come back but that doesn't look good.

WTF??? Is this what 2024 NFL football has come down to? "Fans" whining about tackling an established ball carrier (not a WR crossing over the middle going for a catch) with a full head of steam???
#14 is CB Cobie Durant and he is listed at 5'11" and 182lbs, yet people think it's "bullshite" that he did not take 6'2" 221lb Taysom Hill with head up???? #14 job on that play is to set the edge and either make the tackle or take on the Ruiz to force the ballcarrier back inside, so him going low like that is exactly what he's taught to do to achieve either. Otherwise he'd get bulldozed & kicked out to the sideline allowing Taysom to turn it upfield for a big gain.
I hate that Taysom got injured like that, but get a grip people. Go watch kids flag football at your nearest rec park if you have a problem with that tackle.

It was shitty luck. I don’t think it was a dirty tackle.

You need your eyes checked or rewatch the play if you think that's not a bullshite tackle. Every football fan knows he is supposed to set the edge my guy. But he is also supposed to keep his eyes up so he can see what's going on.
The bullshite part is diving and tackling with the back of your name plate. Maybe Taysom still gets hurt with a Seahawk style heads up, shoulder tackle, wrap, and roll. But show me one coach in the game that teaches throwing your back into the tackle and having the back name plate be the point of impact. I'll be waiting a long time for you to find a coach that teaches tackling with your back and your eyes facing the opposite direction.
I don't care about the going low part because that's the way the NFL has made it with its targeting rules. Low is the only place to go most of the time.
Him basically rolling up into to Taysom with his back shows he was out of control and not in a good position.
I'll say it again maybe Taysom still gets hurt with a normal football tackle because of being sandwiched between two players, but coaches don't want their defender tackling with their back and his head not facing the direction of the defender. That's an easy juke or hurdle in the open field.
The defender is lucky Taysom impacted his name plate and back instead of the back of his neck and head. The defender might have been carted off the field also if Taysom ran right into the back of his head.
