Who are some good ones to target?

I'd really like someone that's worked under shanahan or Mcvay.

Greg Olson - worked for Mcvay, had success with Carr at raiders. He was qb coach for Seattle this season.

Jay gruden - worked for Mcvay this season as consultant after a 2 year break. Has been a successful OC in the past.

I really have no idea where we can go, and I'm sure my 2 ideas suck. Hopefully you guys have some good suggestions

Do people think Allen is going to fire Carmichael?

I think it's very likely.

I do, or at least let Carmichael leave on his own to save from having to be fired.

THe offensive players have made it clear they have no confidence in PC. Yesterday's game aside he has failed completely at designing plays and making in game calls. and just because he had a really good game calling yesterday should not detract from the train wreck he has been all year.

If DA is not planning on replacing him with someone who can redesign the Saints offense they he should definitely get fired.

If I had to make a prediction, I'd say in about two weeks it will be announced that the Saints and Pete Carmichael have mutually agree to part ways. Perhaps Doug Marrone and the Saints will come to a similar agreement but the New OC will be given the opportunity to evaluate the rest of the O-staff and replace as he see fit.

Will not surprise me in the least to see Todd Grantham and Brian Young replaced at some point as well. But I don't think that is a given.

Don’t know who it will be. Not even sure they fire Pete at this point. My guess at potential candidates would be:

Eric Bieniemy
Ken Dorsey
Brian Griese
Jerrod Johnson
Klint Kubiak
Zac Robinson
Frank Reich
Joe Brady
Brian Johnson

But I wouldn’t be surprised if Pete leaves for a job with Denver, a “search” is conducted, and Ronald Curry is promoted to offensive coordinator.

Nope. They'll both be back. Next year will be a repeat of this one. The trifecta of Allen, Carmichael, and Carr will have the Saints middling for the next 3 years.

Why would Brady leave a “safe” position in Buffalo? I wouldn’t hate if they canned allen and gave Brady the helm.

IF Carmichael goes it will be Ronald Curry after “an extensive search”.

before yesterday I thought it was a possibility. after he went full cuckmode I think it's highly improbable.

It’s gonna be an old retread just looking for a job if he even fires Pete.

If we can tell Allen is on borrowed time and isnt respected you bet your arse agents can.

Given Allen, an aging roster, not ideal market, we’re gonna be scraping bottom of the barrel.

As the Saints OC, he would dominate DA. DA may like that.

Im ok with Pete he has an Idea of what to do he just has to find his identity.

We should hire an outside consultant/co OC if we wanna call it that.

You can eliminate anyone on that list that is already an OC of a team that did not fire their HC. So, Johnson is out, and Brady would be out until Buffalo makes a decision on the permanent OC

If we have to hire someone to tell Pete what to do, why not just hire a new OC?
