Trade anything you have to trade. The guy would be a top QB under Payton. Running game already in place and a solid D.... we could be competitive this coming year. please let this happen.

Wouldn’t be a bad move. The NFC hardly has any young QBs at all and this would take one from another NFC team. AFC has a bunch of younger QBs. Saints are in a good position past next year.

I agree with this. Smart move indeed. Wentz struggles in the NFC East as it is the toughest in the NFL. Just look at all their records. Didn't go over 500 because the competition within the division was that intense. If you bring Wentz into a cupcake division like the NFC south than you can see his full potential like he was before Nick Foles came in when he got hurt. Just look at what Brady was able to do in one year. Wentz with his stature, I can see him making the Saints a dynasty.

Wentz was so bad last year. Like horrifically bad. Like pulled as a starter for a non-throwing developmental rookie QB bad.
His contract is an albatross around any franchise that signs him.
He would cost draft capital and potentially players to trade for him.
He’s played in one playoff game and he lost that game.
He’s actually older than J. Winston and has a worse passing completion percentage than Winston.

He has a great win record against teams below .500. He seems to not get it done against good teams.
