The fact that we didn't trade away future assets is worth a decent grade in my book

I don’t know if it’s an A+, but we did get players that should have been picked earlier

That’s how you get a high grade, by maximizing value and positional need with every selection.

I'm impressed with my team for this weekend. Now close out the offseason strong with some good FAs.

Solid draft. At least one of Gayle’s teams did something good this weekend.

I liked the Boyd pick in round 6. He has great strength and seems like a player who help out in short yardage or goal line plays to start out.

Draft grades are the worst predictive shite ever. And I know why we like it, but it's made up.

No one knows who is going to work out or not. Immediate impact player or 3+ years development, or a complete washout. If it was easy, everyone would know. Maybe Drunkard knows.

This is true but honestly but no one knowd how they’ll perform but from an overall draft and prospect look to help the team for NOW they seem like they did well.

I was pleasantly surprised, and feel good about this draft. Felt intelligent and professional.

Pretty much goes without saying that only time will tell.

A- for me

First 2 picks are starters or will get quality minutes so thats what you look for in your first few picks.

The DT and OT have a lot of potential if coached right.

Rattler was good value and eventually a cheap need if he can stay on the roster even as a young backup.

This really was a great draft. Good value from top to bottom.

Unfortunately, almost every prospect selection was used to fill an acute need to avoid from getting decidedly worse. (Fuaga for Ram, Kool Aid for Latt, Spencer for Haener/Peterman/Mond, etc.)

For the first time in a while, I can't say the Sants added a player that made the roster better on-paper than the season before. It took this great draft just to remain at par.

I think Lattimore will still be here next season. Fuaga hopefully can learn both L and R tackle. Sucks about Ram but he served his time here and was a very good player.

I think Lattimore is definitely gone after June 1st. Due to the depth we have as well the financial savings we get.

I can't argue as obviously I don't know for sure. DA discussed ML yesterday and sounded strongly like he wants him back........which doesn't mean anything. I just don't think ML, a premier CB, is someone you get rid of while still under contract. I get when he hits FA let him walk. Depth at CB can go from good to shite off one injury the way teams roll out 3-4 WRs so often.

ETA: I know he is getting older but still isn't a bad age. Outside of injuries, one of them a freak injury, his play on the field hasn't slowed.

They made 2 solid picks…. they will be longterm contributors.

The remaining picks are all flyers.

Don’t give up your draft capital and learn to trade back and gather more capital !!
