Peyton a Double Agent? Some Think So

This deserves a thread of its own -- credit to liquid rabbit:
Peyton a Double Agent? Some Think So
Peyton a Double Agent? Some Think So
quote:
I sought the views of the Colt Nation, and this was interesting: Spanning from Monument Circle to Conseco Fieldhouse to Circle Center Mall to the area near the little race track that features 500 miles each May, a slew of folks alluded to the "c" word, but not for choke. They viewed The Interception as their version of a second gunman on the grassy knoll -- as in conspiracy.
Among the conspiracists, some said Manning threw The Interception on purpose to defensive back Tracy Porter who sprinted 74 yards for a touchdown to seal the Saints' 31-17 victory. Most said he threw it subconsciously.
Whatever the case, both sides said Manning had the Saints' welfare more than that of the Colts dancing around his mind at the moment.
Consider the evidence for the conspiracists: Manning was born and raised in New Orleans. And his father, Archie, is legendary around the Gulf Coast region. And the Mannings (which includes New York Giants quarterback Eli) knew as well as anybody before the game how much a world championship in New Orleans would brighten the souls of those still recovering from Hurricane Katrina. And Wayne, who possibly ran a shoddy route against Porter, also is from New Orleans.

Just think what they would be saying if he shook Brees' hand after the game.

Well all I can say to this is that I hope some of the sports national radio shows pick up on this and crap on Colts fans for it.
Much was made of Saints fans expecting Archie to pull for the Saints over his own son. (We know that to be BS...we never expected that at all) but that did not stop some from taking shots at the Saints fans. ( Or at least painting us all with the same brush)
I doubt this topic is even picked up because it involves Peyton....but i wish they would and rip on Colts fans for it.

I swear, the media cannot stand being wrong about the Saints winning the SuperBowl so they have to make up crap and find some magazine or newspaper stupid enough to print it. Colts fans and media, get the hell over it. We won, no conspiracy, no double agent, just big time want to, damn good coaching, and the best team won.

Believe it or not, this was pointed out to me by a Viqueens fan. Delusional loves company.

Manning never makes mistakes. That is the reasoning behind this. And the fact that the NFL milked the Manning coming from New Orleans thing, being a Saints fan and such. If he grew up in fricking Denver and did all this, no one would say shite.
Anyone believing this is a moron.
Or a genius, because they've realized that the almighty Peyton Manning doesn't make mistakes. Ever.
Here's some of Mannings Career stats. (From what I've heard.)
812 - 0 TD/INT ratio. Wow.
98.6% Completion Percentage. Just fricking brutal.
1 Sack. And that was because the ball started on fire and he had to grab a fire extinguisher from the bench and put it out, almost threw it, but got tackled. Just once.
1,812 Rushing Yards. Just wtf man.
And the most impressive of all.
He holds every single record in the NFL database and no other QB will ever have a shot of taking some of his. Not even Drew Brees who just took the completion percentage record. No way is anyone ever going to get a record ever. Except for; Peyton Manning.

Don't forget Brett Farve grew up about 60 miles from New Orleans and was a Saints fan.

WTF? I am amazed daily of the delusional, psychotic, and unbelievable angles that are taken by some people.

i cant believe this stupid shite. just because the Colts didnt win every game that they "tried to win" dosnt the game is fixed. it is possible for teams to lose and for people to make mistakes. Peyton is human after all...i think. Yes, the Saints did win the superbowl.
in every article i have read about the superbowl, it gives the saints absolutely NO credit for earning the win. NO credit for coming back from down 10 early. NO credit for the interception. they all say that Manning threw the game away and choked. Well, he wouldnt have choked if we didnt have such a damn good team. it wouldnt have been an interception if porter wouldnt have studied his arse of and jumped the route. we wouldnt have gone up by 7 points if moore wouldnt have made the terrific catch and adjust in midair because he is amazing.
In every close game the colts were in this year they won. Doesnt that tell u something. Maybe for once the saints are the best team in the NFL.

You knew someone would bring that up..

Episode 1 of the conspiracy happened when Brett Favre, who is from Kiln, Mississippi threw the game clinching interception. Brett is also a Saints fan and friend of Sean Payton.......

I love fairy tales like this and am fascinated how some people actually believe it.
Posted on 2/24/10 at 9:56 am to Kafka
Actually, the conspiracy nuts did not uncover the entire truth. The Mannings are actually the masterminds of the 9/11 attacks, not Bin Laden. Their entire NFL careers are fronts and they are the actual leaders of Al Qada and the Muslim uprising. For those who believe otherwise, WAKEUP!

Those whom are foolish enough to suggest that such a conspiracy theory might exist are being extremely insulting towards Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.
This crazy notion is an insult to the integrity and competitive spirit of two great NFL QBs, both of whom will be in the Hall of Fame.
Peyton and Brett deserve better. Those who write this kind of crapola deserve to have their computer keyboards confiscated.
