and then you ask why they want to be in power, and it opens up more doors to show how crappy a lot of nola is

the bad parts of new orleans (and that's about half the city at least) are are worse than any other "Bad part" of America, except maybe detroit.

Yea, oops, I forgot casino gambling is about the only form of entertainment over there.....other than playing in the toxic sewage of said refineries.

Wrong - that place closed years ago. Here it was like a five-star restaurant; people would dress up and act like it was something HUGE.

Now, in the old Copelands building, there's a cheap-arse chinese buffet place.

Tuesday Morning Quarterback has us finishing 6-10, which is alarming because his predictions are usually pretty good. Here's hoping he's dead wrong this time.

*ETA: and LC has better food than BR. if you wanna talk down on a town for food, point it at BR

A London "home" date.
Park 4,000 miles away?
Glob'lization Saints.

Forecast finish: 6-10

Carolina Cats.

Forecast finish: 5-11

i highly doubt atlanta finishes ahead of carolina and new orleans..

Agreed, I thought his NFC south predictions were weirdly off-base... like WAY off base. Eh whatever... that's why they play the games.

I was going to take part in this till i remembered that my family owns a Louisiana casino

but out of all cities in Louisiana, New Orleans does offer the most to all ages. Lake Charles/oilfield is so boring. B.R. offers the Tigers..and well..yeah..then we have the likes of..Monroe, Shreveport, Alexandria, Houma, etc. etc..

People who want to talk trash about the city,..using crime stats..please. That's really like just a last resort. You can get robbed in Jennings just as quick as new orleans.

Why the hell would someone from Lake Charles dog New Orleans? Besides Monroe, Lake Charles IS the biggest shithole in the state. Lake Charles already has enough penis envy about Lafayette let alone New Orleans.
