Might be good to put some info in the OP. Said if he opts for surgery he could be out 5-6 months, or if it's not too bad he could try to play through it(which would negate a lot of what he does).

5-6 months would be a lucky break considering

Pec muscles can end a season very quickly.

It seems that with pecs and biceps its either brief or season ending.
