I don't understand why you keep posting on here to say that you don't like the Saints.

It sounds like you were never really a very loyal fan to begin with. This is not even the hardest time period for me to be a Saints fan. It's still better now than the 1-15 season and the post Katrina San Antonio/Baton Rouge Aaron Brooks led team.

It must be nice to just pick and choose a "favorite" team based on whims. Surely you will ditch your new team too the first time they have difficulty or employ someone you don't agree with 100%.

I attended games in 05 at Tiger Stadium. I am loyal to the Saints, but they have turned away from being the Saints under Payton. Most current Saints fans are loyal to the wins, not the Saints. I'd rather an 0-16 team with a coach who is honest and has honor than a 16-0 SB winner with Payton as the coach.

Youre right we aren't a running joke in the NFl anymore. And we are legit superbowl contenders every year. This is a far cry from what the Saints were before Payton.

No one will miss you. Just leave the board, give up on the Saints, and stay the hell away from the Dome.

Sticking with the Saints through all the bad times is what made the SB win so amazing.

Each team has it's share of people that may not be the greatest in the world. In fact, I doubt I would like most Saints players if I knew them in person.

If you can't pull for the team because of Sean Payton then pull for the team because it makes a lot of really good people happy when they win.

rampant rumors and speculation, and regardless addiction is a disease. Hate the sin not the sinner.

Now you are in the position to judge what is best for Payton's family? This had zero effect on the Saints as a team last year.

How self-righteous does a person have to be to claim that another man moving his family is a reason to lose respect for that person?

You are a joke. To be honest, outside of actually encouraging severe bodily harm, I don't care what my coach is doing. If BB wanted to shack up with 15 cocktail waitresses while doing lines of coke off their stomachs, I'd be fine with that, as long as he kept winning. Like it or not, certain people were put on this earth to coach, it doesn't make them good or bad people, it just makes them fantastic at their job.

Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis
Lost respect for them trying to make Gregg look like he was the only guilty party.

All football fans, especially Saints fans

Who thinks Gregg is a terrible monster.

Gained Respect

Gregg Williams, because he hasn't said a word. He could have thrown Payton under the bus.

Gregg has actually earned a little street cred.

Its called saving your own arse. GW is gone and he didnt leave in good terms with these two guys either. Good riddance, throw him under the bus. If you lost respect for Loomis after the phenomenal job he has done in the FA in the wake of all this bullshite your insane. And if youve lost respect for Payton, I guess i can underatand thatm however with the team rallying around the guy and how well he has handled his own situation i have more respect for my HC now.

I'll agree with this. I dont think the guy did anything different than most DC's in all levels of football. People way overreacted

Gregg Williams,

Not at all. I didnt lose respect for him, but i certainly didnt gain any. I slowly lost respect for him the 2 seasons after the Superbowl because of his coaching. His little speech and this dumbass scandal didnt change my opinion of him at all.

I think Sean Payton did take responsibility for it happening. As for the blame, if Gregg had full control of the defense and they told him to stop, then in my opinion Gregg should be to blame. But ultimately, we don't know how it "really" went down.

I agree. I don't think he did something nearly as bad as what others are making him out to be.

If I remember correctly, he was the first one to meet with Goodell. He may have thrown Payton under the bus for all we know to save his own arse. He also knows he is more in the wrong for all this stuff(because he ran the defense) so he knows better to buck the system with Goodell and I'm sure he wants to be reinstated once his suspension is up.
