Rizzi giving him props at the end is something was notable. I hope he finally can build on his potential because Allen was doing him no favors.

No, he shoved Rizzi in the back and Rizzi turned around to see who pushed him

Yep, think Rizzi was either pissed at first or hurt.

Looked like Turner was smiling when he hugged him though.

I was wondering what that was about. Turner did have a good game, I thought Rizzi was giving him props, I have a hard time believing he was chewing him out after an emotional win.

Smiling for now, Rizz was pissed but the win is bigger than that. They definitely had a moment but Turner just took celebrating to far

You had to see what happened. If you got shoved in the back you’d turn around and see who did it as well. It was a tense moment but they remembered they have a win to celebrate

Would it surprise you if Dennis Allen hated Payton Turner and benched him, while Rizzi saw the talent and let him play today --- and he produced

I misread what happened there, I thought he pulled Turner aside to give him props. Either way it was a weird situation in part because this team hasn’t had that sort of energy in so long they didn’t know what to do.

Turner's push was in celebration and he probably was looking to see who it was but he stumbled going back to him like he was about to pass out. Hayball comes to hold him up too.

Rizzi was fussing at Turner for celebrating before the game was over. Then when the game was over he celebrated by tackling Rizzi.

Yea I heard the press conference. Whatever, I’m just glad to have the players jacked up again.

Maybe Rizzi has a bad back Turner did not know about?

Looking more and more like DA was a stubborn prick. I totally believe this to be true.

Dennis Allen only likes big DEs that can bull rush. He doesn’t like pass rushers like Hendrickson, Baun, Ellis, etc.

That said, Turner has injury issues. But it wouldn’t surprise me if Folskey comes in and has 6 sacks to finish the season now.

If Turner finishes the year healthy he will be off to greener pastures.
4 years. A couple of games. A couple mil in the bank. And probably a very healthy and fresh nfl ready body.

It’s interesting hearing some of the things about Kendre miller and Dennis Allen, and now seeing Payton turner have his best game immediately after DA is gone.

I think some of these guys just genuinely disliked Dennis Allen and how they were treated.

according to a headline I saw, Saints completely changed their pass rush scheme this week to a more "player friendly" system, whatever that means.

I saw much more pressure personally

Called the game to the players strengths, instead of constantly bringing in players because of RAS and forcing them to work within your system?
