Payton will only coach an anointed team. Goodell has officially designated the Saints as NFL refuse.

What would his options be if the Cowboys and Chargers keep winning? I assume the Chargers won't keep it up, but just hypothetical.

Arizona? Denver?

Why do people always post that his wife hates New Orleans?

Probably just one of those rumors repeated so many times it's become fact

Absolutely. Jeff Duncan regardless of if you like him or not usually doesn't throw stuff out like that.

This was his source's info last offseason

I totally agree Jeff Glazer says it. He will be coach next season.

What if Goodell suspended Payton for a year for some undisclosed bullshite and Sean is really the coach of the Saints. Kind of like MJ playing baseball.

But I’m sure Gayle will just give the Saints to the Catholic Church when she dies anyway.

This is already set up to happen.

Payton’s new team is playing right now

Not sure why everyone assumes Payton will be coaching the Chargers next year and why no one mentions the Rams.

McVay almost went into broadcasting after winning the Super Bowl and they’ve had a bad season. And the Rams tried to trade for Payton before they hired McVay and had a deal in place.

Furthermore, Payton has mentioned ownership is critical and the Spanos family has been a bad and dysfunctional ownership group. Stan Kroenke of the Rams isn’t perfect but he got the stsdium built, spends money and they won a Super Bowl.

So keep an eye on Payton to the Rams.

Im sure the rams are a thought too, but they will be in a similar situation to the saints, no qb, no money, and no draft picks

Allen is 100% getting fired. No way he returns next year.

Duncan also said "Payton is't going anywhere relax" and retired 2 days later.

Who comes out and says they want a job for either the rams or chargers
rams just won a super bowl and chargers have one of best young qb prospects in the game
