The only weakness is a former #1 overall pick at QB who is desperate to get back to relevancy in the league.
The WR group is pretty damn awful with the exception of Thomas who hasn’t played much in 2 years.

No other coach is going to allow Hill to play QB so his contract should revert to the lower scale. The head scratcher for me has always been Peat.

How many coaches can come in and take over a 9 win team?

A 25 year old cornerback that's riding around with friends with guns in car, that's funny

So Michael Thomas getting paid 20 + a year and haven't played since don't qualify as a bad contract dufus

Trautman-arse, Ruiz-arse, and turner was a reach that you past up on day one starter to select that probably gonna be a bust also, I didn't see anything promising and Callaway wouldn't even make roster of most teams in league

If possible we should keep Armstead and Kwon

And whoever you are has to be a fool if you didn't think payton made all the moves, all Loomis do is use his pen (funny)

Another clueless so called “Saints Fan”.
Except for 1 of the best seasons EVER for a WR the very next year after signing his big contract but 149 Rec’s & 1,800 yds & 9 TDs is but you keep on showing everybody how much you know big guy!

The NFL is a what have you done for me lately league not 3 years ago, that shows me your football knowledge, I could just imagine if you were putting a team together

That's why New England was one of the best run franchises in the league teams like us keeping vets past their prime and over playing players That's not giving you their best will keep you in cap hell

Green Bay was just 13-4 & the #1 seed in the NFC yet they are $52.3 million over the salary cap.

Not too bad. Payton put it into perspective when people brought up the roster struggles.
The Saints had the most starters in a single season with 58. They won 9 games and were on the brink of playoffs. The previous record was 55, that team won 3 games. Also in last season, a team used 56 starters. That team won 5 games.
Bottom line is that this roster isn’t as bad as some would lead you to believe.

Peat had to be done, you needed a level of stability at guard since you were gonna lose both.
Unfortunately KC needed a guard and made us overpay

It's amazing to me how retarded some of our fans are. When Haslett and Mueller first came in, they turned the roster over and had some mild success. When Payton took over with Loomis, there was another complete turnover and again, successful. Then we had Ireland come on board, who makes most of the personnel decisions and our roster was never stronger. We still have the nucleus and over 40 of our players are under 27 years old. That's pretty damn strong. You completely missed the mark on this one hotrod.

His cap hit in 2020 was $7M, and his cap hit in 2022 was $10M. So, he hasn’t been getting paid 20+ a year to sit on IR. Obviously, if it carries into next year it’s a different story

So you think the Saints should get rid of all players that spend time around guns? That will be a very thin roster.
Latt legally has a right to carry a firearm. His only mistake in this situation was he didn’t verify the gun’s history when he purchased it.
