Per Ian Rap.

The Broncos job is also becoming available as Kubiak is stepping down due to heath issues.

Also Chip Kelly is getting fired.

I think it would be a bad idea to trade him away, but it would at least be exciting for a couple of minutes before the doom set in.

You'd have to think there's too much smoke now to just not have him going to LA.

No it's just Rap and LaCanfora picking on Payton for no good reason. Payton or his agent arent't behind it at all.

They're already low on picks because of the Goff trade. They don't even have a first this year.

Denver? I could get down for that. But Elway wouldn't give us a first, so...

I posted this in one of the other threads

Mutual interest can mean "hey will you listen to an offer for Payton" saints: "sure but we will tell you no"

Or the Saints make some absurd offer they know will be turned down or the Rams would be stupid to accept. I.e. Ricky Williams draft day trade.

That would be reported as mutual interest.

This! Can people stop posting their articles where they just speculate for the sheer purpose of getting clicks. Both of these guys had SP going to a handful of teams last year and one was certain SP was going to Indy.

With the Saints talent evaluation abilities, might as well just give the Rams SP for free. It will save a lot of wasted time.

I have to believe there's something there with more and more of these reports...but...why do they keep coming out on Sunday mornings when it's well known splash reports are 99% nothing more than what they're called.
