I don't think the Lions are better than the Vikings without Farve but I do think the Packers are better and the Bears are close. The Vikings have a tough schedule to go through without Farve if he doesn't come back. He made that team much much better.

Why wouldn't you have drafted a QB higher knowing even if Favre came back it was only for one more year. That way you would have someone to groove for the job

They can still make the wildcard with Sage or Jackson at QB. They did it 2 years ago. That is a pretty good team

shite, they went 10-6 and won their division with those two at QB two years ago.

Anybody hear Visanthe on SVP just now?

Guy sounded like he was gonna cry. I thought he was gonna ask for a moment to himself.

He also said he's hearing that its true

The NFC is tougher this year. McNabb makes the Redskins light years better. Kolb will be fine in Philly. Giants and Cowboys will be back in it....not to mention, outside of Buffalo, the entire AFC East is capable of making the playoffs....Don't forget they play is a somewhat tough division. W/ Farve, a playoff run wasn't a guarantee, but now its way harder.

light years?? The problem with the Skins was not the QB. Mcnabb is better than Campbell but thats not why they sucked.

pretty bold statement on a guy who has thrown 130 career passes.

Giants I don't see it, Cowboys yes but they are the type of team that could self-destruct in any week.

Favre's trying to turn Minn. into Detroit. They deserve it after so pathetically coddling Mr. Ego. Favre embodies some great things when on the field. Off though he has evolved into an ugly prima donna that only those who need his performance for success can bear with. I won't be sad to see the diva act end. The Porter pick was even more poetic and symbolic than Corey Webster's pick of his last pass in a Packer uni.

I've been watching NFL football for a looooong time. I have never seen anything like the ongoing Favre fiasco.

I plan on saving this message so I can save some time typing this time next year.

Yes we were. It was a must-win game at the time. To me the game was more of an aberration. We went up 17-0 and turned the lights out. Strange game

Our playcalling in the second half shows that we weren't trying.

You just proved my point.

Campbell was pretty inconsistent, but they had a top 6 D. Their running game, if healthy...big if, will be better...the O-line is way better....they do lack in the WR department, but more importantly, Shanahan will get their shite straight. You are in denial if you think the Redskins won't be an East contender.

I said fine. What's bold about that? I never said Super Bowl, but they will be tough.

Maybe so, but its hard to just count them out any year.

I agree.
