lol dont call a timeout to challenge. just challenge then..
Posted on 11/8/09 at 5:41 pm to THRILLHO
gives the offense more time to come with a play to get a first, more time for the D to rest

yeah.. we lost this challenge
not really a big deal though, we have another challenge and we haven't burned any timeouts

Why call TO then throw the flag?
Posted on 11/8/09 at 5:41 pm to SlowFlowPro
is he challenging b/c he was gonna call timeout anyway? thats obviously an incomplete pass
Posted on 11/8/09 at 5:41 pm to SlowFlowPro
He called a timeout before he technically "threw" the challenge flag. That's two timeouts he's risking, frick.
Posted on 11/8/09 at 5:41 pm to SlowFlowPro
he just challenged cause he had to take time out. No biggie at this point in the game given you're need for a time out.

the ground didnt cause colston to fumble either.. like he still had possession for a second after he hit the ground and it came loose..
Posted on 11/8/09 at 5:41 pm to Pilot Tiger
hopefully they use this time as if it were just a timeout to prepare our offense and defense for the end of this game
Posted on 11/8/09 at 5:41 pm to baytiger
I hope they don't charge him two TOs here.

Missed the play. What was the call on the field?

Whats the ruling on the ground causing the ball to come loose?
I thought you had to maintain possession on the ground

hit on the ground and popped out...
WR has to maintain possession through falling to the ground.

You need to maintain possession after hitting the ground.
