He called a timeout before he technically "threw" the challenge flag. That's two timeouts he's risking, frick.

he just challenged cause he had to take time out. No biggie at this point in the game given you're need for a time out.

the ground didnt cause colston to fumble either.. like he still had possession for a second after he hit the ground and it came loose..

hopefully they use this time as if it were just a timeout to prepare our offense and defense for the end of this game

Whats the ruling on the ground causing the ball to come loose?

I thought you had to maintain possession on the ground

WR has to maintain possession through falling to the ground.

You need to maintain possession after hitting the ground.
