As a long time ST poster this board is a complete shite show on game days, particularly when we struggle. For those of you that can keep your cool and not be a gaping vagina, disregard this message. To the other 10,000 of you, listen up:

You CAN express frustration when we're playing poorly. Starting posts like, "We need to get our heads out of our asses" or "The defense looks like shite so far today" is perfectly fine. You don't have to be an overly optimistic cheerleader with a fake smile plastered on your face. We all get anxious and upset with the team's play at times.

What makes you a complete pussy bitch are the blanket posts/threads like "It's time for Drew Brees to retire because he sucks" or "This game is over and we're gonna lose by 30" or "frick this team". It's still the first quarter, a-hole!

If you feel the need to sky scream and overreact like a 7 year old girl, find somewhere else to do it. Stop choking up Saints Talk with your nonsense because you can't handle your emotions.

And whatever you do, don't come back on here after the game with your "I'm here to eat crow" threads. frick you, you fake arse fan. When you spend an hour motherfricking Drew Brees and CSP and talking about how the Saints suck, don't come back in here with your "glad I was wrong" bullshite.

TIA

I used to think the behavior was exclusive to saints/LSU fan base but I do see it a lot in similar situations across the board

Not that it isn’t annoying though

The people you're addressing don't post here during the week.

Until the admins grant us a game board, this will happen.

As a longtime poster as well, I wish folks would just take GameDay for what it is. An emotional roller coaster where I can be pissed the hell off one minute and elated the next. I realize it's not going to be cool, rational discussion on GameDay and generally wait for the week for that. The threads with all the "told you so" and "this place was an embarrassment" are just a waste of time and frustration for everyone.

And, it's a message board for Christ sake, not some holy ground

This is every game. As a long time ST poster you should know.

No need to start a thread about it, won't change.

I usually exit the game threads when all the doom & gloom BS starts, then return when it looks like sanity has been restored.

Quite a few threads ended up getting whacked yesterday when Cowboy and Falcon "fans" came to troll during our slow start. Thought that might continue, but whoever the admin was seemed to have gone away by then. Or maybe the trolls just vanished after the 1st quarter?

This is the most rational response.
It's gonna happen.
It's up to the individual to accept and not be bothered by it.

The negativity doesn't last forever.

I'll have to take your word for that.
I rarely leave the gamethread during games.

It's one thing to post a thought during the game thread that's irrational, it's another thing to start a whole thread because you believe your negativity is worth everyone's time.

I was surprised when I replied to a Cowboys troll only for the thread to disappear after I hit the submit button. Someone was doing some early work.

I've started posting more in here and it's more enjoyable. Keep all the fluid thoughts to one contained thread.

The only threads that get any traction during gameday are the ones that are excessively negative.

You may be on to something there. Why dont we petition Chicken to create a gameday board where only serious posters can go and discuss the game without all the screaming vaginas and trolls.

Rant gameday is the same way but the admins will ban your arse in that thread because you are talking about kids, college.

I was at the dome so I didn't get to see. Must have went off the rails in the first quarter. I've never seen this many threads complaining about how bad the board was to start.

I just stay away from the internet during the game. I don't even look at texts most of the time because of the bitching. First text I got yesterday from a friend was that Brees needs to retire because he doesn't have the arm strength anymore. I didn't respond.

I can only imagine the terrible posts that were here yesterday.
