I understand the stat, but at same time I wonder why they needed the game winning drive in first place

Because a team starting a rookie QB, outside of injury, is a damning sign of a not-so-good roster overall.

I don't know, why did Drew Brees have to have 53 game winning drives?

Why did Tom Brady have to have 58 game winning drives?

Brees would have like 100 game winning drives his his defense didn't routinely shite the bed at the end of games.

It seems like every NFL game I catch for years comes down to the last drive.

Trying to get like baseball where they have these combined facts in order to have some obscure stat. It's interesting but does seem a bit unnecessary.

Would be cool to know how many rookies in the last 10 years have lead game-winning drives in back-to-back games; regardless of the other team's record. Then you can add the, "but the only 2 to do it against teams with winning records..." caveat.

It would have been 3 game-winning drives in a row, but it would have missed the "against teams with a winning record" part of the tweet since Miami was 4-7 going into that game.

Because it’s professional football with every player being an NFL football player.

This isn’t high school or even college where there is/can be a huge talent discrepancy between teams. I swear we have done if the dumbest fans sometimes.
