Well he hasn’t worked out since then. Not even at his pro day. He has a private workout scheduled I think starting today so we’ll see I guess.

To be fair, every Saints OSU pick for the last 10 years has been a solid player, with some being great...at least for some period.

If you go beyond 10 years, you have Jenkins, Will Smith and LeCharles Bently.
OSU players have been arguably the safest bet for the Saints this century.

I agree. And they have 4 OSU guys and 1 LSU guy who would all help out this team a lot. And all are worthy of being drafted at 8.

Of the guys likely available to us I bet that Ioane, Downs and Sadiq are the most likely pro bowlers. Delanne possibly too.
Not saying we should take those guys at 8 but they feel like the highest floor/ceiling combos.

You know the short arms thing is just some stupid made up crap don’t you? It doesn’t portend anything. FFS, there was a guy a few years ago with one arm playing in the NFL. I wonder what his arm length was. So Bains arms only come down to his waist? He can’t even reach his junk without bending over? He has the arms of a 12 year old? What? People CANT have “short” arms. Arm length matters for some positions and edge is one. No player with shorter than 32” arms has gotten 10 sacks in a season in 27 years!!! That is a fact.

Another huge negative for Bain is that most analysts have said he’s not a fit for every team. He fits 4-3 teams. On a 3-4 team, he is not a good fit.
