Allen is ultra conservative. His ideal scenario is to win every game 13-7.

Allen sucks and doesn’t even know it.

There's been a bunch of stuff from PFF and other sites that have reflected that we seem to use analytics among the least of any teams in the league.

Dennis is a loser.

If he ever had a chance to be at least a mediocre coach this was it. He was pretty well set up considering the state of our division and shite schedule, but nope he finds ways to lose because he’s terrible.

His decisions at K and P alone have had a large hand in his losses.

The longer we go without any changes made, the harder it is for me to give a damn about the Saints. Why should I be invested when the people running this franchise clearly don't give a shite?

Can you read the bottom of it?

The staff doesn't use analytics as much as other staffs do

Ok I read that, I just thought the picture of formation was supposed to prove something also.

How do you quantify optimal call rate? I'm not saying I don't believe it because I can certainly believe it with how unimaginative this offense is. I've just never heard of that stat before or how you measure such a thing.

Edit: Oh, I missed the 4th down part of the graphic on my first glance. So I assume it's when the analytics say to go for it or not and how many times a team goes for it when the sheet says to go for it? Because at first I thought it was just talking about optimal play calling on any down.

If you’ve seen moneyball, it’s kind of similar-ish to that. Essentially they have models of game situations of when you should and shouldn’t go for it based on field position, time on the clock, and the score of the game.

I’m ready to blow it up and go after the younger coaches like the Rams and Dolphins have done. A coach that can coach but not scared to use the analytics and get after it and get aggressive when it calls for it.
