I agree. He's not an upgrade.

Ingram knew the system and he and Kamara worked very well together.

There's no sugarcoating that we're weaker at that position.

It isn't a killer but I would have preferred to keep him.

it isn't the end of the world if we don't but the rumor mill has been churning so hard it would almost be a letdown if he didn't.

true, the O-line was banged up again at the end.

but I say that we just couldn't spread the ball around enough to put us over the top.

also couldn't get pressure on the QB from the pass rush on D at crucial times.

What I do like is the aggressiveness to upgrade the kicking game.

that's something that use to be a fixture like the LB's.

Solid points, except Meredith will NEVER catch a pass in a Saints uniform. At least that’s what I’ve heard.

I think the front office has done exceptionally well in free agency so far given who has left and who was available but I would not call Murray a major upgrade . However he is an excellent blocker and he's big but has a tendency to run upright , if he would lower that shoulder a bit particularly on contact and given the Saints have a better o-line than Minn. this could work out. Also the Vikings failed to utilize his pass catching ability.

Cooks will be Ben Watson level good. He isn’t gonna become Gronk. Seems like a lot to pay him but a TE was needed and he has the experience to be s solid one. Murray for Ingram won’t be a big change but saves money.
