I think Gayle needs to act in the same manner in which she acted when she approved the firing of SVG as the coach of the Pelicans as it relates to Dennis Allen. Mediocrity won’t be accepted here and that needs to be the message going forward.

New coaches, but also getting rid of overpriced/injured/disgruntled assets and bringing in fresh blood. Willie Green didn't do it all himself.

Allen will be gone after this year because we were sold on consistency. Now that Allen isn’t showing consistency and this team is sinking fast, we can expect to see a coaching change.
If for some reason he’s given another year, he won’t make it half way through the season.

Are we even 100% sure that DA is the problem??
I’m not defending him at all, but everyone is so quick to say fire the HC, but this team has so many issues, are we gonna just make DA the fall guy and keep everything else the same?

I blame it on men drinking soy, they all fall apart and want to redo the entire thing at any sign of a struggle.

Based on stint with the Raiders and now seeing this with the Saints, Allen is 100% at fault.
It would be one thing if this team was playing their arse and just losing because of lack of talent due to injuries. This team is leading the NFL in every negative category while the body language on the sideline looks like defeat.

Most people are smart enough to go with what their eyes tell them. And giving Allen any benefit of the doubt is just foolish and completely mind boggling.

Yea what the hell, let’s give him another year so he can have an even half decade of losing seasons.

I'm not sure DA was the right hire but bailing after 7 games is asinine. The Saints were 5-2 after 7 games last year then lost 5 straight. They are 2-5 this year and have lost 4 of the 5 by 8 points or less.
There is not much difference between last year's and this year's teams.

For the record, I wasn’t giving Allen the benefit of the doubt. I don’t think he’s done a terrible job, and he completely revamped our defense (he doesn’t get nearly enough credit for this)
I guess just like when we lost CSP/brees, I was worried about losing our offense and that’s exactly what happened. I don’t want the defense to start performing like our old defense if he leaves, that’s all
But Im pretty sure I’m on board with the rest of y’all. I don’t think he’s the answer, just not sure who the hell out there is any better, all things considered
It’s just so hard to evaluate anything fairly when we have the offense that we do. The defense always comes out firing, but after so many frick ups by the offense, how motivated are they to keep playing top notch defense? It’s got to be exhausting and frustrating for those guys

Yes, we have face adversity with injuries, etc....however we have gone backwards from a coaching standpoint. You can have average players that can play smart, fundamentally sound football which would make losing understandable. We have literally beaten ourselves 6 out of 7 games against inferior teams b/c of piss poor play.

NBA cap is malleable. Trading guys doesn't have a huge effect. The NFL is a hard cap. Trading is almost as bad a releasing. The 3 highest paid guys are Thomas, Jordan, and Lattimore.
