Old & Slow Defense

Watching this Steelers/Bengals game, seeing these other defenses explode off the ball, putting pressure on the QB. How washed up our D-Line & LB’ers are.

Bengals D doesn’t look great but I agree with you about the Steelers. The strength of the saints team isn’t very strong.

Still at a loss on what person felt that Cam was better than Trey.

I can admit, he was a 3rd down only de because he got absolutely attacked against the run.
The issue was you couldn't keep everyone and the assumption was to pay Marcus Williams.
Then you let everyone walk to sign Marcus maye and tyrann Mathieu. Davenport continued to be injury prone and benched for being lazy and the perfect storm occurred... Where you kept nobody from that elite offense.
Now we're running into the same issue when we let Jenkins and Harper go in the same off season. Trying to find a better safety duo. Aging DL and linebacker.
We need to just go for asset acquisition at this point

I think they thought that we’d return a top 10 defense, and Carr could get us over the top.
Not only do we not have a top 10 D, but our O line sucks. Play calling sucks. And Carr has some major gaps in his game at times.
Which is a bad mix when your play calling sucks.

Demario was probably the best MLB in the league for a few years. He's definitely in his final couple of years in the NFL as a starter and nowhere close to where he was then. Father time is most certainly undefeated.
