Inside the dome the video showed the tip of the ball clearly hitting the ground. Once I saw that I knew there was no way they were going to rule it a catch. We don’t get breaks for some strange reason

Heard the angle showed in the dome was pretty clear it hit the ground. Weird they didn’t show us that on tv

I am actually hoping this is the case. That being said, shame on the broadcast for not showing it even if it was after the fact.

Yeah the broadcast fricked that one up

Nowak on Twitter said it was obviously not a catch and that our coaches didn’t even argue

Honestly I would hope a reporter would ask Coach Moore about it in a PC to get his take. That could at least address the claim that there was a mystery angle that showed it was a drop.

They can ask, but as you know coaches and players are not allowed to criticize or really even question the refs less they risk heavy fines.

Another major problem with the NFL that has exacerbated the problem.

Whatever CKM was told to not told about the call, we'll probably never really know.

The replay calls have gotten so bad. I’m convinced it has to do with gambling lines or some other kind of motivation. There is no oversight or accountability for these calls.

Yep... Ever since the NFL got in bed with all these on-line gaming sites, the game is not the same... The NFL will eventually kill the goose that laid the golden egg...

Don't get me started on the "no call" PI on Alave in the end zone, it was clear as day PI...

What do you suggest fans do about it on a Monday morning?

To be honest, fans have more "power" to effect change than ever before due to social media. That allows fans to, collectively, shed light on issues. The MSM, once the only avenue of critique, now gets the majority of its content by canvassing social media. For better or worse, never before in the course of human history have ordinary people had the ability to have their opinions/voices heard by the masses.

I'm not saying fans should go protest in NYC, but they absolutely can generate enough attention on social media to get (a) the MSM to pay attention and (b) by proxy, get the NFL to pay attention.

I usually will give the officials the benefit of the doubt, but that was an incomprehensible overturn.

Well then what’s the point of replay??

To appease the fans. They have a million camera angles at any given time. They pick and choose which angles to put on the big screen or on TV. They knew he caught it.

At least it ultimately didn't effect the outcome.

My deal though is. .at least with the no call it was a call made in the moment that for better or worse you couldn't reverse on a replay.

With this, they literally doubled down on their bullshite. I would understand if they called it an incomplete on the field and stuck with it. At least then you can reasonably say they didn't have enough and they stuck with what was on the field.

You cant objectively look at this and see it from their side. This is probably the worse call ive seen for the reasons ive said.

Sure, the significance of the no call is by far more shitty. But, I can reasonably say it was a "live" play and they went with what they did

Clearly no angle shown on TV

Whatever happened to the Ref's screen being linked to the TV so that viewers saw exactly what they saw "under the hood"? Posters mentioning seeing a different replay at the dome, but that was not shown on TV. Did the ref's screen linking to TV go away when draft kings and other gambling deals spiked????

The refs got it right! For some reason the NFL had it reviewed and overturned it! The ball didn’t appear to touch the ground so I can’t figure out how it was incomplete

Same thing in the jags game. Brian Thomas had a catch that got overturned on assist.

One of the refs was new to the NFL . He came from college officiating . He kind of over called penalties … maybe trying to make a good impression (?) He called offsides on the Saints because a lineman’s helmet was one millimeter over the neutral zone . When he stopped the game to look at Olave’s catch with 1:30 to go in the 4th… that really negatively impacted the Cardinals . Their coach was NOT happy . To save face … it was declared not a catch ! Just my opinion .

Apparently OL being offsides is a point of emphasis as a result of the Philly QB sneak play.
