Offseason?

Now that our season has come to an heart breaking end it is time to focus on the offseason and to improve. What positions y'all would like to focus on to get better at and how much cap room do we have to spend on free agency?

Top 3 needs in my opinion. Of course we could improve the D and add some talent but they really stepped it up as the season went on.

Really underrated. And yeah I think Dez will be back. Golden Tate should get a look at WR also. This years TE free agent class is kind of weak.

Help on offense at every level except RB and QB. Ingram being resigned is priority #1.
Then adding every available asset to get at least the semblance of a threat at TE and the best #2 WR some 2020 draft picks can pay for in a trade.
That’s the only way I see us making another run, even though deep down I know it’s too late. Brees needs another Badass weapon like Thomas or Kamara to help him and the offense. It’s the only way. Defense is there.

Dez will be back but let’s be honest, he’s not moving the needle on offense and neither is Meredith. The team doesn’t need a slot WR like Tate. They need another really good WR.

A guy like Emmanuel Sanders would help a ton and not cost a ton of draft capital
We could also fork out the cash to Tyrell Williams but it would take Brees opting out of his final deal and then resigning for less money, which is doubtful at this point. Any serious consideration for another great WR would likely encompass the same thinking like AB (a pipe dream)
