I'll just keep it at...Reggie's performance over the last year and a half doesn't warrant his pay. Return specialists don't get paid that much and i bet D. Hester from Chicago would like to take that pay and he'd actually hold on to the ball and not get hurt.

As soon as Reggie takes a punt return to the house you will all be sucking his balls again..get off of the dude's back and let him play, nobody is talking about Bell's fumble that was returned for a touchdown, if that would have been Reggie, you would have asked for his head no matter how many yards he has rushed for...The fact is that he is a SAINT, and he isn't going anywhere, so shut the hell up and support him!!!

I'm like all the other Saints fans, just waiting for Reggie to be better than average, with a few great plays thrown in.

In my opinion, his injuries and his inability to develop into a superior running back have kept him from being an indispensable part of this team.

As far as his future is concerned, I hope the Saints will re-sign him because I believe the light WILL turn on for him at some point. However I think his next contract will not be the huge bonanza he will expect (unless Al Davis is involved).

I never said Reggie rushed for 100 yards...and by the way, which fumble led to points for the Lions...Bush's or Bell's?

Reggie Bush just posted these on his twitter:

quote:

@reggie_bush Change is sometimes a good thing! Don't be afraid of change! Regardless if it's personal or professional!

quote:

@reggie_bush God has a plan for us all, and it may not be the way you want it to happen! But it is better than the way we want it to happen!

He sounds unhappy with something...I am scared.

Seriously? Yeah Bell's got returned. If it wasn't for a piss poor Stafford throw, Bush's turnover would've resulted in points too.
I guess you would rather a guy who fumbles, dances around and loses yards as often as he gains them, with the possibility of returning a couple a year for TD's? Not me Jack, I want a guy who catches it and gets the hell up the field for positive yards and has a chance of returning a few big ones.

Look, I'm not saying that Bush is a better running running back than Bell. I'm just saying that people should give Bush a break..he hasn't played in 8 straight games so he will be a little rusty...

hey this goes here! not a a new thread

from PFT-

Apparently, when folks accuse me of hating Reggie Bush, I'll no longer be alone.

Saints fans will soon be accusing NBC's Tony Dungy of hating him, too.

Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show, Dungy said that he'd take Chargers running back Darren Sproles over Saints running back Reggie Bush.

It's actually not even close. Sproles has become that which Bush was supposed to have been.

Sproles is a dynamic and dangerous kick returner. Sproles is a shifty and elusive running back, who worked between the tackles and outside. And Sproles is a heart-attack-inducing presence in the passing game, with the ever-present ability to turn a short screen into a long touchdown.

Of course, Dungy is in much better position to compare the two. In Dungy's only exposure to Bush, the 2005 Heisman winner generated 45 yards of total offense in the 2007 regular-season opener. Sproles, on the other hand, helped end Dungy's coaching career with a strong performance in the 2008 AFC playoffs.

So while Saints fans might now accuse Dungy of hating Bush, Dungy has many more reasons to actually hate Sproles
