Jets? don’t kid yourself. Bears will definitely the best opening but i don’t think anyone somewhat accomplished wants to frick with ARod and the Jets

Now THIS is where I parked my car. I would love to make a play for a guy like him, but he will be knee deep in the playoffs.

Do not take this as an endorsement, but I think Ryan Day will get calls as well. A lot of people see him as a better NFL HC than College.

A good result if we actually hire Belichick, we won’t be traded up every draft and taking project players.

1. Johnson and you offer him full control.
2. Vrabel and this would be my preferred and more realistic choice.
3. Slowik
4. Glenn (he’s not ready imo).

Just mentally prepare for the disappointment and be pleasantly surprised if they opt to not do something dumb

I saw an article where he was ranked most popular among his players so they’ll use that as a selling piece as well.

After the Miami fiasco, I’d pass on Flores

Flores turned Miami around. The Defense anyway. All the other shite was a fiasco but Miami definitely stepped in it and poured gasoline on the fire.

Glenn is actually doing really well with Detroit. The only reason I don’t want him is because it ties us back to Payton and keeps Loomis comfortable.

The problem with Flores is that if you hire him, you literally cannot fire him without the longest leash possible, or you're getting sued and called every name in the book on national TV, and you can't hire certain HCs after firing him or you strengthen his lawsuit.

I wouldn't touch Flores with a 10 foot pole, no matter how good a coach he is.

I’ve narrowed my list down to 4 candidates. Can’t decide.

Curley Hallman
Gerry Dinardo
Les Miles
Ed Orgeron

This should be a dsqualifying trait. The franchise needs a fresh start.

I just don't want a Defensive HC.

As of right now two teams will be looking for head coaches with the possibly that the bears and cowboys join the ranks as well.

It’s not like we are going to have the pick of the litter.

70 million over the cap.
An old as frick roster.
Derek Carr.
And NOLA is a crappy place to live.

Just to name a few of the warts

Belichick is a notoriously horrible drafter.

The game is slowly zigging to a balanced run/pass under-center scheme from the zagging 75-35 pass-to-run shotgun offenses as defenses have mostly figured them out & built rosters with nickel/dime defenses.

We need a coach who will implement a balanced offensive attack helmed by a dual threat QB that can bulldoze through 200 lbs LBs & Safeties. It's the future.

I'll eat my hat if he takes the Saints job. Will have his pick of the litter this offseason

Old, probably wants a more "plug and play" winning situation

quote:

Mike Vrabel

I'd be fine with this. He's a proven winner and culture guy. But he got fired in part because he wanted more personnel control...will that jive with Loomis?

quote:

Bobby Slowick

Yuck. His offense is disappointing big time this year in Houston despite tons of talent.

Liam Cohen

I don't know much about him, but working under Sean McVay and doing good work with the Bucs makes me interested.

Brian Flores

Good coach. Will the Miami off-field stuff be palatable to Gayle and company?

quote:

Aaron Glenn

Probably the leader in the clubhouse, but they may want to go away from the Dennis Allen mold/influence with the next hire. But seems like a solid candidate otherwise.
