And just who would trade anything of value for MI? Its his third year right, he is a bust and taking up a roster spot.

Ingram looked pretty bad in preseason also. But let's blame the O line.

I didn't blame anyone for his bad game, but don't let me stop you from doing it.

Even if the O line doesn't open up big holes, PT can still use his vision to get through for a few yards.

Ingram hesitates, or picks the wrong lane.

Granted the play where he got nailed for a loss wehn we went for it on 4th down was pretty stupid.

I just don't know what to think of Ingram anymore. He really let me down yesterday.

There were runs where he had nowhere to go. Then there were runs where he should have gotten some big gains only to be trucked by a safety. He's frustrating to say the least.

Maybe not you, but some Ingram defenders are blaming the O line for his inability to gain yards. Like the line blocks when PT is in, but not for Ingram.

Or that Payton is not so genius at calling plays only when Ingram is in the backfield.

Time for the blame to be put where it needs to be. He's just not a good fit or a good enough talent for the Saints.

Fans would chant "HITLER" if he picked up a 1st down.
Trade him, bench him, demote him, learn to play call for him, move him to safety FAIC but do SOMETHING with him cause it still is not working out for him in NOLA.

PT is better than MI.

Nobody is arguing that point.

He has never carried the load in the NFL by himself. There has to be a reason for that. In 09, he had his most carries ever at right under 150. MI has been lackluster at best in his time with the Saints, but he is a capable RB and I truly believe that we will need him before this season is over.

But I am a Saints fan. I was in love with the Reggie pick right away. I was excited that they moved in and grabbed MI when we were bringing scrubs in off the street to play for us in the playoffs the year before. If they cut him or trade him so be it, but while he is on our roster I will cheer for him and hope for the best.

-Who were these people shouting "INGRAM!!!!!" before the game?

-It's not one bad game it's like 20 bad games out of 33.

Go track down the in-game threads from preseason.

Official Ingram sucks thread. I would be happy getting a second string corner or linebacker for his 3 yards per carry worthless drive killing arse!!!

Oh no it wasn't just Ingram the O-Line didn't run block for anyone yesterday. The only decent runs I saw were off of a couple draw plays. O-line was severely lacking yesterday. You could even see it in some of the hurried throws Brees had to make.

All that said I didn't see a lot of pop out of Ingram yesterday. Sproles used his speed and size to get what positive gains he could, and PT was able to break a few tackles but was hit early and often. I'm an Ingram guy but have to admit I'm starting to wonder at this point.

IMHO, if the Saints don't trade Ingram, it will be because no NFL GM is interested in any kind of trade to acquire this player.

IMHO, Ingram is too small and weak to play in the NFL. When he is playing arena ball in a couple of years, I'll be proved correct.

Drafting him was an egregious error, bordering on inexcusable and unforgivable.

But, hey, I am no guru and could easily be wrong. I'm just an average Saints fan.

There ARE some true "Guru" Saints fans that post on here who really do possess a bit of expert knowledge about the NFL, the game and the Saints. I enjoy reading their input, and don't mind at all when they don't agree with me on something.

He got positive yardage and held onto the ball in a win over a division rival. The Saints aren't your fantasy team.

Chris Ivory had 10 carries for 15 yards yesterday.

What this has to do with this thread, I don't know.

Sorry you didn't find a majority of people that agree with you. The guy sucks for us. I don't believe it's our system at all. I THINK HE GENUINLY IS A SHITTY RUNNING BACK. Let him become a pro bowler for someone else if he is truly so great and it's just " Our System" that doesn't fit his running style . Just get him the frick off of our team!

So 9 carries for 11 yards is a good game in your opinion?
