If we were going to go with someone off the wall I would have selected Dixon from MIss St.

We just resigned Bushrod and Strief. That is depth. We could easily found a project later in the draft.

I understand if the CB pick if they are movin Jenkins to FS.

Brown might have been BPA, but their were some nice prospects that could have filled needs that wouldn't have been big reaches.

So can someone explain to me how this trade would go down?

We have 5 OT's on the roster. I am assuming we keep 3 of them guaranteed. Do we keep 4 and only deal the 5th?

Could we keep 3 and deal 2 of them in a package trade?

It is a shame that all of you who are so much smarter aren't making picks instead of the coach and general manager of the Super Bowl Champs!!!

If you were the Saints might finally be a good team,

we got stanely arnoux i think we are just adding depth. We might trade and get Rocky Mctosh from the skins after the draft.

This.

Dixon would have been an upgrade to Bell's vacancy.

The NFL is a win now league since you never know when the door will close. I would think we would fill needs within reason with early picks(probably more likely to make impact as a rookie).

We could repeat next year if we fill the small holes.

I'm late to the party. Just got here. Charles Brown?!?! I totally forgot he was still on the board. After I slept on the Robinson pick last night, I had come to grips with it. I will come to grips with this Brown pick, if and only if there is something about to happen with Jamal Brown. Are we planning to go five across with Tackles this season?

And it would seem that the posters on this site don't think that the Saints want to make picks that will allow them to win or aren't smart enought to do so.

I personally believe that this group wants to win and is smart enough to make the right picks for the team.

They have a LOT more information to process than the self-proclaimed experts criticizing their picks.

true...I'm basing my opinion on a couple of SEC games that I saw dixon play in...I hope the saints scouting department is better than my opinion or the td message board

it is funny, the FO has earned our trust, but it is curious.

I had the oprtunity to hear GW speak reecently......he indicated that he thought out OT's were average but our interior line was as good as any in the league in forming a pocket for Drew.

maybe the FO is goping to trade an over rated OT and replace with Brown....Let's hope so.
