I would've thought this number would be a little higher (10-10.5) Offense is still rolling and the defense should be at least as good as last year. I feel like the Panthers and Bucs are both weak in the division.
I assume I'm going to get some biased answers

Unbiased I see 10 or 11 wins. People keep writing off Carolina, but I refuse to believe it until it happens. They look good still.

OVER. 11-5 is certainly doable. If we go at least 2-2 against ATL/CAR and 2-1 against PHI/LAR/MIN, 11 wins may be enough for a first round bye also.
A list I saw earlier was pretty conservative too. I think their highest was PHI and NE at ~11.5

The Vegas books having us at 9.5 is ridiculous to me. I am no OT baller, but I did throw $20 on that bet, easy money (hopefully)

Saints were given 5 primetime games this season and 4 game of the week slots (NY @ 3:25, PIT @ 3:25, BAL @ 3:25, LAR @ 3:25).
The majority of our games this season will be national tv.
Come week 5 when Drew most likely breaks the all-time passing record on MNF at home against WSH everyone will be sucking him and the Saints off. This game was intentionally scheduled on MNF like it is scripted to shine the light on Brees' career accomplishments and the Saints dominant offense over the past decade plus.
Sean Payton is one of two head coaches on the competition committee. What it seems like to me is there is an agenda for some Saints love this season.
I'm very confident we are a playoff team this year so got to take the over.

Winning 10 games in the nfl isn’t easy. I think we will win 10-11 if we get off to a good start but we have a tough schedule. I’ve seen a lot of people essentially guaranteeing 12-13 wins which is crazy to me.

This. The NFL is tough week in and out regardless of opponent. Tough schedule and Ingram’s early suspension makes the first 5 games critical. I think the over is probable, and I think we could see an 11 win season. But, we can’t get off to a slow start.

I agree it looks bad but we really don’t know until this season is in full swing. Always teams that seem like they’ll be good but end up bad.
