He is making almost 9 million a year....is he worth it?

Ask yourself would you rather have a healthy Duece (type RB) or Reggie? That's easy! One 100 yard rushing game in his career (Bush).

I know he is explosive in the open field....Only problem you do not have to pay 9 MILLION dollars for that!

Trade him....and get me 2 or 3 quality, needed players!

Not so fast! That all depends on what another team is willing to give for him.

we're you people saying trade him when he ran back 2 kicks against minn last year and almost a 3rd...It ain't bush losing games for the saints, it's the coaching plus, well, it's the saints...their losers

I personally think he would be a much better RB if the O-Line could learn to run block a little more.

And we still lost the game!

That surely does not make him worth 9 million dollars a season.

Please learn a little about the NFL and salary caps. There's a lot more to it than in Madden. This has been discussed ad nauseum. Like him or not Reggie ain't and virtually can't be going anywhere.

Reggie isn't an "up the gut" runner, so heres an idea......DON'T RUN HIM UP THE GUT! Let Thomas handle that, and Reggie can be the outside threat. I'm not a genius when it comes to football, but I think other teams have had a bruising-type runner and a quick guy both at RB and done well......lets see, maybe this year we'll have it all together! Superbowl for the Saints, National Championship for the Tigers.....

Yes

How much does that cost? And who can we have for cheaper that brings his explosiveness?

This is what pisses me off. The idiots that think Bush is a bust are the same people that think we can get "2 or 3 quality players" for him. WTF is up with the hipocracy?

Bush isn't going anywhere and a healthy season this year will show you that he shouldn't. This is a pass first offense and that won't change. Bush is the perfect type of running back for SP to game plan around. I'm tired of hearing that we need a "Deuce type running back". Reggie is here to stay so get used to it. PT and Bell will handle the inside runs when needed.

not 'cause of Bush...The defense blew it, brees threw ints...etc etc...Bush needs a bruiser type back to be successful like deuce in '06...PT ain't the answer...

yep I think that is funny, people yell about trading him because he sucks but in the same sentence think we can get a 1st rounder and something else for him.

I guess it is the idiots that believe you can not pay two players 4.5 million a season and attract talent. How bout you go sit down with Vilma and tell him he is not worth it. Maybe, you will not find the kick returner that runs two to four back for TD's. However, that does not win football games over an entire season. One or two MAYBE!

After reading this and the blitzing thread, I've determined that this is obviously the least knowledgeable poster on this board. Horrible, horrible threads.
