-Paulson Adebo is camp MVP so far
-Bradley Roby having a great camp
-Alontae Taylor’s talent pops on the field, needs to be consistent
-Marshon Lattimore not even being thrown at
-“Solid” so far for Jameis Winston
-Adam Trautman most targeted receiver right now
-James Hurst is clear LT1 right now
-Trevor Penning going a little overboard with the extracurriculars
-Chris Olave looks really good, playing multiple WR positions including slot
-Payton Turner looked great early on, got knicked up again
-Marcus Maye has shown great range, also looked good in the box
-PJ Williams is bulked up, looks like S only now
-Marcus Davenport working off to the side, working on conditioning after offseason surgeries
-Rookie Demarco Jackson has looked good at LB
-TreQuan Smith is WR4 right now, has made more plays than Callaway and Harty(notes they all will still make the team)
-A lot of good WR depth for practice squad(Kirk Merritt and Dai’jean Dixon)
-Kentravious Street has high praise for Cesar Ruiz
-No scrimmages scheduled, just practice than preseason in Houston 8/13

I'm willing to give penning some time but he better not bust. Olave impacting field quickly would be needed and very promising.

Yep. If Maye and Mathieu be what they can and have been and add CJGJ and PJ and whatevers in addition, its a stacked secondary behind what should be a fearful edge rush if all healthy.

We need to start a Saints "All Glass" team. We have some very strong candidates recently:
-Armstead
-Peat
-Thomas(ankles shouldn't take this long)
-Smith
-Turner
-Davenport
-Lutz(just because kicker)
Ronnie Lott would've cut off a digit and poked any of these guys straight in the grill with it!

Fantastic news that Davenport is doing anything at all. Pretty big positive and I hope he will play this year.

Other reporters have reported the Penning thing as a positive that the rest of the team appreciates. They like that he's nasty and hes been playing extremely well. Its obvious DA doesnt want to "anoint" anyone. Make them earn it. Since they put the pads on, he's shined, which shouldnt be a surprise
