According to some Detroit Fish Hack. Any validity to any of this?

5.
quote:

If the Lions can apply early pressure on the Saints through explosive offensive plays or defensive takeaways, the weight on the collective shoulders of the Saints will increase, opening the door for mistakes.

Obnoxiously stupid point. It pertains equally to both teams

4.
quote:

The Lions will be facing the Saints for the second time this season and should have an idea of the tactics the Saints will use to attack them.

3.
quote:

Suh missed the previous contest against the Saints as he was serving the first game of his two-game suspension.

Only somewhat reasonably valid point made.

2.
quote:

If Delmas plays – and he should – the Lions pass defense should experience immediate and palpable improvement.

Drew Brees will carve this D like a Turkey with or without who ever the hell Delmas is

quote:

1. Matthew Stafford... The ultimate key to success for the Lions rests on the right arm of Stafford. In order for the Lions to win, Stafford will have to outduel Brees, which may not be as unrealistic as it sounds.

I wont dignify that with a response

The biggest thing going against Detroit (other than talent level) is what happened last year in Seattle.

No way Brees and Payton are letting that happen again.

Stafford is underrated, sure.
But putting him in a duel against Brees is outrageous.

Delmas had an endzone pick of Brees last year or the year before, IIRC. He's a pretty good safety. Not that he should change the final outcome.

I personally think the way the Saints are running the ball lately will make this a totally different game than the first one. Ivory clearly is the lead horse now, and the stable is full. Losing Moore would hurt a lot more any other year but this season there are just too many other options to fill the gap.

If Jahri Evans and Carl Nicks show up the way they have the last 8 games, this game won't be close. The Saints live and die by the play of those guards.

2008 saints v lions W 42-7
2009 saints v lions W 45-27
2011 saints v lions W 31-17

I stand by my statement.

stafford's shoulder is hurt, theyll start the game by running the ball a lot and try to wear down our D.

last year playing seattle, we ran out of running backs; that's not at all the case this year haha

they may have suh and we may play without vilma. but we're playing the superdome at seven pm.

saints all the way. (besides, someone midway through the first quarter will likely say something smart at suh and he'll have to go bipolar again and get kicked out for the rest of the year.)

This whole thing reads like John Madden commentary...

"Well, Pat, for the Lions to win they're going to have to score more points than the Saints" :Summerallshakeshead:
