lol it is indented because the bullet hit from the inside causing the indention to push outward in the door...its not hard to understand

Because it's not dented from the outside in
The dent sticks out of the door hence why it's easy to tell

Looks like a very large nipple in the middle of the passenger front door.

If you look again, you will realize that the metal is pushed out (or at least could be).

The nipple on the door looks like a shot from the inside to me

The nipple points outward.

Looks dented out to me, and it doesn't look like it exited (I don't see a hole, just the dent).

He was found partially in the vehicle and likely didn't get very far once the bullets started to fly. That might be a miss (12-10 hits -1chambered) or the one round that exited Smith. IIRC, all but one lodged in his body.

It looks like a protruding dent to me and Raquel was found outside of the vehicle, so it's probably not one of hers. Who knows?

So it's looking more and more like the shooter, who's claiming he felt threatened, was all the way up to Smith's door when shots were fired in his back

I'm sure it will all come out eventually buy his case for self-defense isn't very good right now.

How'd you get that conclusion? Not trying to be argumentative just curious because wouldn't you think that if that was a miss from that close it would've went through the door?

Smith's lawyer lies but Hayes' doesn't?

Well, the angle that one would have to shoot to get a bullet to hit the passenger door would have to be almost straight through an open door on the driver's side. Take into account that the driver's side was blocked by a large human being and it kind of makes sense that Hayes had to have been pretty close to the driver's side door for that bullet to end up where it did. Not what one would think would be a defensive position. This case is going to be interesting to say the least.

It was said that they thought the situation was defused but shooter re-approached. I think Smith's attorney said this at his press conference. Re-approaching certainly isn't a defensive stance.
