re: NOPD logs show no record of 911 call to report hit and run

2nd 911 call; which is much more important than the 1st one
The second 911 call is not nearly as important as the first. The first call, Hayes claimed he called to report the hit and run, which is also what Hayes says started the whole incident that required the 2nd and subsequently 3rd 911 calls. Its my opinion (and its only an opinion)the first call never took place.

Legally, if one gives the benefit of the alleged facts to the shooter, he would be better off without the initial bump and run. In other words, had he just been driving along and made a mistake rear ending another vehicle, one could argue that he feared the commotion (shirtless assailants, screaming women, and statements of guns). The problem for shooter is that he willingly thrust himself into that scene when he chose to pursue and was involved in a second accident with the vehicle he was pursuing, regardless of how that second accident occurred.
The alleged 911 call after the bump and run might help to show that shooter was merely attempting to get enough info to let police handle it. Without that call, the shooter looks like a more than willing combatant with an axe to grind. If the attorney is as good as some here seem to think, I can see why he moved on to the police and strippers. The facts went from bad to worse for his client without the 911 call.

The Fuller circus is really starting to bother me too. I get what he is trying to do and I think it's the right underlying strategy, but I think he could have handled it differently. He won't even declare what his client intends to plea, yet he's calling for the entire police department to recuse without showing cause and he's asking for strip club surveillance publicly in the middle of Smith's memorial service when he hasn't verified if the Smith's were even there. Why hold a press conference? Does he expect the news media to provide the surveillance? Lol.
He gave a statement to the media on Monday before taking a statement from his own client and continues to cite unverified, and unidentified witnesses that he has not spoken to directly. The 911 call bit him in the arse and caught his client in a lie, let's see if or when he gets bitten again.

The moment he slammed into the back of Smith's car after Smith bumped and ran (whether he hit him or not doesn't matter; Hayes apparently seemed to think he was hit) he became the aggressor. Anything that happened after that was set off by the big collision.

I like his approach. I did some reading on him and alot of people believe he was offered the judge deal to get him off of the defense side. apparently he has been really successful and they want him to change sides.
either way it is more entertaining than if everyone is not saying anything.

I'm glad you're entertained, but I just think asking the media for strip club surveillance during the memorial service is in very poor taste.

what if it was an accident? I have a feeling if he wanted to do it intentionally there would have been much more damage. the damage on the vehicles doesnt really correspond with some huge collision IMHO. I also think if he did it intentionally he would have been out the car and approaching smith but we have learned from smiths lawyer that they were the ones that approached this guy and witness testimony(according to the advocate) says that they were the ones that pushed the argument.
also, according to smiths lawyer, they were worried because this guy had stopped in the middle of the road(actually smith hit him), and that they ran because he was in a scary military hummer. so you are telling me that you are scared, you run from the guy and he comes "slamming" in to the back of you and you are the first people out approaching the guy and starting the verbal altercation? when you knowingly have a gun in the vehicle? seems like their first move would have been to call the police and stay in the vehicle with their gun.

I haven't been here in 24 hours or so. Has LE finally come to grips that Hayes is fricked and will spend the rest of his miserable life at Angola?

he also said hayes apologized but she left that out.
Whether he apologized or not has no bearing on the fact that Raion Hill carried the knife.

I'm sorry, when did this go to court?? You're confusing 'facts' with he said - she said info and that's not really a good idea

To be fair I think LE has been at least objective with his opinions even though I don't necessarily agree with him

you realize you are guessing that Hayes rammed smith intentionally at this point, yes?

Serious question, what knife? Did I miss something?

supposedly hayes and hill got in an argument on the set of a movie and hill said he was scared and came back with a knife. He also said that hayes apologized and they were good after that. IMHO it is more of an indictment on hill than hayes.
she is responding back to a post from like 3 days ago for some reason.

Well we don't know the full story on that either or what was said between the two of them.
Raion Hill never seemed to be a thug when I went to high school with him (older than me though). Looks like he is a stunt man now in the movie business.
