This is legit the first time I've talked about him in months. Keep trying.

This whole board jerked off to daltons mediocre play last year then has a problem with threads like this.

Melt away proxy

You guys arguing about a journeyman backup QBs is hilarious to me. Fact is the Saints haven't had a real starting-caliber QB since Brees left. Anyone who thought that Dalton/Jameis was the answer are equally idiotic.

I was thankful for Andy last year. I don’t hold any grudges with him leaving.

He was a serviceable QB that almost got us in the playoffs. He’s been a role model NFL player throughout his entire career. Why do you hate gingers?

That is what happens when you sell your soul to a ginger.

80% of this board were squarely in the corner of JaMeIs as the future post 2020 heading into 2021.

Some realists, like myself, kept telling everyone they must’ve forgotten what he looked like in Tampa because he’s absolutely dogshit at playing QB.

Right, except for the time when he wasn't when he was under Sean's tutelage and had his playcalling.

Just think how god Dalton would have been if he had Sean’s tutelage that one year. Carmichael had him finishing in the top ten last year. Sean might have made him into a top 5 qb.

Fools gold, Carmichael didn't give Dalton many opportunities to screw up, his attempts were super low for a reason.

Interesting take.

Especially since Dalton averaged more attempts per game than Jameis did in 2021.

Are you referring to the time where he had 2 hyper efficient touchdown games (something like 9 TD in 50 attempts) and every other game was below 65% completion with 3 ~50% completion games?

Jameis is not and has never been a good quarterback bro.
