I think Foles will be a FA and I'm sure he would love to be behind Brees a few seasons and take over this offense? Thoughts?

Foles is probably sick of being behind anyone.

He should be the starter in Philly. They are obviously oblivious to that fact. Their infatuation with Wentz will be their loss. Foles will shine anywhere with a good o-line

So, lots of talented QB's out there. We have a Teddy Bridgewater question that will need to be answered this offseason.

One "last resort" option that would be fun as frick to watch is letting Taysom Hill start an entire season. What would we have to lose? It'd be entertaining as hell. He can run people over half the game. He's showing nice passing ability. I'm just saying, if this is our fall back, at least it'd be entertaining and interesting.

I’m not advocating for Foles to be a Saint. I think that he is a great qb and has obviously matured into the position nicely. I think it’s funny that Philly doesn’t see it that way.

Next year is going to be a good year for a team to pick up a good QB. You have two Super Bowl MVPs that will be available (Foles and Flacco), possibly a third in Manning, and Teddy. Teams like the Jags and Dolphins should be all over these guys.

talented in that mediocre type way. Production usually comes down to systematic success from the coaches and organization.

Foles fits our system well I just don’t think the timing will be right

To think it’s eaay to find a good QB is just ignorant. There are teams that have gone a decade & haven’t had good QB play. Just look at the teams in the AFC east since the Brady era. That could easily be the Saints

Difference being is that we think we have an elite offensive coach already in place. Payton has seemingly grown a little bit in knowing how to cater to different style qb's as well.

Offensive line is mostly in place as well.

We have an All Pro WR already.

Kamara if he's resigned.

We have a lot of established pieces.

Many think Brees will retire if we win Super Bowl.

I don’t dislike the system, I’m disagreeing that talented QBs are readily available

That would actually be pretty fun if the goal is to sell the farm for the Clemson QB in 2020.

Marshon Lattimore walks into a bar. There's Nick Foles tending the bar, and on the counter behind him is a goldfish bowl full of 5 dollar bills.
Marshon asks the man next to him, "What the hell is going on?"
The man says, "We have a contest going. You put a 5 dollar bill in the goldfish bowl, and if you make Nick Foles laugh, you win all the money!"
The guy goes behind the bar, puts a 5 dollar bill in the goldfish bowl, whispers something to Nick Foles, and he cracks up laughing. The guy takes all the money out of the bowl and leaves the bar.
A few months later, he walks into the tavern again. Nick Foles is still tending bar, but now the goldfish bowl is filled with 10 dollar bills.
The guy asks, "Well, what's the contest now?"
The same man answers, "You have to make Nick Foles cry!"
The guy goes behind the bar, puts a 10 dollar bill in the goldfish bowl, and brings Nick Foles out the back door.
A few minutes later, they walk back in and Foles is in tears. The guy takes all the money out of the goldfish bowl, and just as he's walking out, everyone demands that he explain how he did it!
"The 1st time" he explains, "I told the Nick that I had a bigger D than him. This time I showed it to him!"

Having said that, hard pass.
