Kansas City is overrated. That defense isnt the typical Chiefs defense of the past few years, they have some major issues on that side of the ball

So we beat a division rival's arse and the Seahawks lose to an east coast team at home, and they are ranked higher than us (with a worse record)...go home ESPN, you're drunk.

fricking Yahoo, WTF

Who would have thought Saints at Rams on Nov. 26 would be a possible NFC championship game preview? The Saints probably suffer from a perception issue because a lot of their wins are against bottom-half NFL teams, but they’re good. The defensive improvement is the biggest reason but the emergence of Alvin Kamara as a true difference maker has been fun too.

6 wins

1 team with a winning record (Carolina)
3 .500 teams (Miami, Detroit, GB)
2 losing records (Chicago, TB)

Yeah the Seahawks are really hanging scalps on the wall with their wins against the Texans, Colts, 49’ers, and Giants.

Or Dallas with the Redskins, 49’ers, Giants, and Cardinals.

This isn't untrue. They only have one win against a team with a winning record (CAR @ 6-3). However, they have 3 wins against teams sitting at .500 (MIA, DET, GB all @ 4-4). Detroit is probably the only one of those who looks like they can finish above .500.

It's not like Yahoo is shitting all over the Saints. They have them at #4. I'd say that's showing a lot of respect all things considered. And they've got 4 games coming up that'll give them a chance to shut up any nay-sayers.

Of course the rankings are meaningless conversation starters, but ESPN having Dallas and Seattle ahead of the Saints is a joke. First, the obvious, the Saints have a better record than both teams. But as you said, most of their wins aren't impressive...particularly Seattle.

Lack of primetime games
very young stars
three years of mediocrity

Hell a lot of fans on this board still are wary and have mentioned they are hesitant to get too excited. We won 6 in a row and there is a thread saying the next three games will be telling.

Not very shocking the National sentiment is similar to the ones we are feeling here.

KC is good, but come on they are on a damn 3 game losing streak, there is no way they should be ahead of a team on a 6 game winning streak.
