Viewership dropped 10-15 % when only a few players decided to disrespect the flag and kneel. You can bet your sweet arse that 90% of the black players and 25% of the white apologists moving forward will be on their knees for 20 minutes up until kick off. The tail continues to wag the dog.

Viewership down 30% by week 4....IMHO.

I'm out when Drew is out. That's just me.

Football isnt what it once was, fun and enjoyment is gone.

I’ve never seen so many oppressed black people making seven figures… Oh the humanity.

Down big time. They had a chance to make this right, they choose to side with the cancel culture mob. Americans want politics out of sports. But media members like Maria Taylor still havent received that message. Instead the media and the players are continuing a hard-line push of liberal group think.

The Athletic today laid off 46 writers today because of a big lost in subscribers. Many of the subscribers said it wasn't no sports being played it was because The Athletic went political with their sports writing. They said Sports should be canceled. You're a subscribed sports media in the digital age and you demanded no sports and shamed people for taking an opposing view point. Yeah you deserve to get your arse handed to you. Lesson learn. Elite journalists make for terrible beat writers. I digress. I haven't hate the NFL as much as I do now. I hope they fall of the cliff so we can obtain a full reset.

Not far enough, I should not have to deal with politics when I want to watch an athletic competition.

Not this go around. People in 2016 were irritated more than anything. Now many more are pissed and walked away. You're only given so many chances to make it right or people will wash their hands. You're seeing that now. I'm being one of them. I rather take up creating fart bubbles in the tub as a pastime before I watch these ungrateful assholes ever again

Yep. I compare it to going to walmart. When you walk into Walmart, the greeter says Hi, How are You doing? Its universally awesome. If Walmart went political and say Hi, Abortion kills. I would be like wth..I just came here to buy some groceries. Same applies to the NFL.

Clay has a huge platform and its growing. And he's not a news guy or beat writer. He's a commentator. Huge difference Nice try.

Sorry Lester.... Just like the democratic party once they are done exploiting the black community they will drop them like a bag of dirt. When you have 32 owners that start losing hundreds of millions of dollars a year shits going to get real. The virtue signaling will come to a screeching halt. Nobody’s gonna watch the black panthers play football this season… Except fellow black panthers.

People are dying for sports. Not politics being shoved down their throats. But people are living just fine without. They are finding other pastimes. I’m playing golf.

The NFL needs a full reset. With reduced revenue means a reduced salary cap. Players will learn the hard way and it will suck for the non elite players. With CTE awareness on the rise, this could eventually break the NFL.
