Five calls for “body weight” is no surprise - it usually happens with areas of emphasis, then people adjust.

Hopefully it’s the refs that adjust and not be so ticky tack with it

So he officially played the fewest snaps of any defensive player except one, and he had one of the only two hits on the QB all day (and the only one that was not considered a penalty)? Yeah he sucks.

His helmet hit Fitz's too. Ticky tack I know, but we've all seen it called a dozen times.

I'm not so sure. Looked like he led with helmet across the body during the tackle. It wasn't a helmet to helmet hit. Looked like a very clean tackle

Cool The refs calling the games don't even know the rules. smh

guess what they're supposed to do is sort of miss the QB with their body and use their arm and momentum to pull the QB down without falling on them.

Big QBs like Big Ben & Cam would feast on defenses.

Seems like if the Qb is hit high it’s roughing the passer and if he is hit low then it’s roughing the passer...so how do you tackle him without getting a penalty

Don't forget if you lower your shoulders to his him in the torso and the refs think you lowered your head, it's a penalty.

In the end the officiating only resulted in 3 points

Can you really minimize it like that. If not for those 3 points, Saints would have only been down 21 instead of 24. Therefore, when they scored that last TD, they would have been down 8 and only needed to make the extra point. As a result, Saints still have 1 timeout when they kickoff to TB before that final drive.

This also causes TB to have a different game plan on that final drive, and they can't just kneel it 3 times in a row after the 2 minute warning (if the first 3 plays of that drive go exactly as they happened).
