Just end the crap. If I’m the saints do what you did last year. Kneel before the anthem and then unite together during the anthem. If any ignorant fan has an issue with that don’t come to the games or follow the saints. It is as simple as that.

It’s the NFL’s decision. If they let them protest, sucks for you.
Honestly don’t give a shite. I watch the NFL for football and what happens from 15;00 in the first quarter to 0:00 in the fourth. I don’t care about players politics.

Does not appear to be unanimous from the team owners but more of a policy massage to appease both sides and the fans. I am not going to lose sleep over it either way so does not suck for me.

This is such an easy compromise for everyone involved. Players make their point, which is fine whether you agree or not. Then they stand for the anthem, which Is the right move. IMO

Is it? The NFLPA says according to the CBA, they can't unilaterally make that rule. I find it interesting that the NBA has language in their contracts, but the NFL didn't.

It's obvious that none of us gives a frick, or we would show our feelings, & not even watch the games. I'm a viewer myself, but I know a lot of people who must have higher morals than myself that only watch college ball, & have sworn to never watch another NFL game , kinda like me & the NBA.

and the NFL could give a flying frick... even with decreased viewership/TV ratings, revenue actually INCREASED last year, by almost 5%, to over $8 billion
tbh, the only people that ACTUALLY give a shite about the anthem shite are false flag wavers, and there are plenty of those on BOTH sides of the issue... personally, I think everyone involved needs to find a better respective hill to die on, but whatever
and this issue more than likely would have died out a long time ago had it not been for a certain individual named Donald "the J is for jackass" Trump... had he NOT gone and thrown gas on the fire, Kaep was out of the league and there were not many following his lead, it's entirely possible we wouldn't be having this discussion right now... had he just not gone and put his foot in his fat fricking mouth...

Why is it so fricking important what jocks do before a game? One way or the other? When you go to a restaurant, do they play the national anthem before your meal? Would you be outraged if your waiter “took a knee”?
