Come on dude. This is a shite take. Did we overpay and overcommit for Carr? Yes. Does he suck? No. The team was desperate for a starting QB, and they figured getting one in the draft would be extremely challenging. Carr is an above average to good QB that can do good things with this team. Saying he sucks is disingenuous.

No one is saying Carr is a top 5 guy who can run around and put the entire team on his back.
Now he is good enough to win and is on a two yr 70 mil contract.
35 mil a year for a top 15 qb is not expensive.

Overcommit? We can get out of the contract after two years? How is that overcommitting?
If you compare how much Danny Dimes and Watson got paid for their production, (over 40 million a year) you can say he’s underpayed right now.
He leads the league in completions over 40 yards right now. And that’s missing the blantant PI non csll to Olave against the titans.
