Kelemete may be the most important outside of Drew. I’m just wondering how much he’ll get on the open market.

Would not shock me if for some reason we see Armstead as a liability.

I have a feeling Drew takes 15 mil cap hit this year to give us room to possibly bring Jimmy and Landry in.

Draft Defense again with the cornerstone pieces.

Potentially fit Malcolm Butler with the money leftover.

We have to go all in.

There is no tomorrow.

Just talking about the players I want back, not taking into account money:

Brees
Okafor
Kelemente
Johnson
Freeney

Line or Kuhn is fine with me, probably Line because he’s younger
I’d love Vaccaro back, but he’ll want big money
Bush, Moore, and LeRibeus are nice rotational guys who probably won’t command much on the market and will probably be back

The rest are meh

I don't see any way Kelemete resigns personally unless we are cutting bait with Armstead. Because Kelemete has balled this year and he will 100% want to be a starter somewhere & can get starter money.

Yeah he battled some injuries but i think the main reason is cause teams started to game plan mainly against him when Suh left. If you can combine hime with Cam Jordan then I think he could return to 10+ sacks a year

That means he can potentially come in a little cheaper. I'm down.

Someone leak some dirty shite about Arden Key while we are at it lol...

20 mil in cap space

For our own team in free agency:
1. sign Brees. its going to likely be a 2-3 year 20-30 mil per contract.
2. cut/restructure Unger and Fleener, neither are worth 8 mil.
3. solve the Nick Fairley contract
4. sign Okafor (a must sign.. with injury we should get him for 3 year 13 mil or so)
5. try to sign Vaccaro but don't break the bank here
6. Try to sign Kelemente, but he should get starter $$ from someone Imo
7. re-sign Rafaela Bush, Mauti, George Johnson,
8. We could extend Morestead to lessen his cap hit
9. We could also seek to extend Ingram as he will be entering his last year
10. let Snead walk

Other free agency:
We won't have much $$ but if somehow they get the Fairley $ back and let Vaccaro walk... It would be nice to get Drew a receiving option that can beat man coverage. Other than that look for solid cheap depth on defense.

Draft
1st round pick #27: I truly think this will be a best player available situation. We could make a move for a QB. TE or WR could be something we look at, or they really like a DE or LB. I doubt they would take a DB, DT or OL here.

3rd round pick This could be a place to try to find a safety to replace Vaccaro or BPA
4th
5th
5th
6th
6th
7th

All best player available, would like to get a OL to replace Kelemente if we lose him. Another pass rusher, and then take high risk players who have a shot to be impact players. With a pretty stacked and young roster we don't have many slots available to make the roster so I think its prudent to go for home run or bust type guys in the mid to late rounds.

Drew can't sign for that and want to be in Superbowl LIII and LIV

Disagree about Unger. Fleener, yes, he’ll be gone.

Stopped reading.

Plus, we're cutting Fleener for Graham.

Most NFL teams undergo significant personnel changes from year to year.

I will not expect the Saints to be any different.
