Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes & welcome to the Week 7/Game 7 Thread
A short week after a tough loss after leading for the vast majority of the game, and maybe some dry desert air will clear up what's ailing the Saints.
The Saints will look to improve in the red zone after getting only 1 TD & having to settle for 4 FGs in 5 trips inside the Cincinnati 20 last week, a key part in last week's loss.
But while there are things to lament, maybe there's hope for an offense that has looked much more competent over the last few weeks (currently tied for 6th best in total yards per game average... I know... I was shocked too... a top-10 offense?), including 200+ rushing yards in last week's game. And now some help is coming back this week as WR Chris Olave is set to return to the line-up for tonight's game from his concussion suffered a week & a half ago.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals will get their own bit of help back at the wide receiver position as D'Andre Hopkins makes his season debut tonight.
LET'S CLIP THE CARDINALS WINGS AND COME BACK INTO THE MINI-BYE WITH A WIN!!!!!

I was at the game this weekend so didnt catch any highlights or stats from the game. Was Rasheed as good as he looked in person? I noticed he had a few breakout plays but dont know how involved he actually was. With everyone out tonight thinking of dropping a dime on him to score a TD at +3000.

People are talking about how Hopkins is back but he has been away from the team until 4 days ago. It is unlikely that he will have the chemistry and timing with Murray that he will have later. He also will likely not have the endurance considering he hasn't played a whole game in almost a year.
They just lost the WR that Murray has had the most success with this season (Brown).
It should be noted that their first string Center and Left Guard are both out for this game. Not sure if this is a plus for us or not. If we can get pressure, Murray will have frequent happy feet which might be more trouble then its worth.
Their kicker has also been out for two games and is a game time decision for tonight. If he does go he might not be 100%. They signed Blankenship to their practice squad to kick if he cant go.

I hate playing athletic running QBs. Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, etc. all kill Dennis Allen defenses. Hell, even Mariota ran on us earlier this year.
I also hate Thursday night football. Despise it really. I want us to win, but I’m just hoping we don’t have any serious injuries.

I wish the nfl to be sued for employee endangerment with Thursday night ball.

I'm sure this is late... but for this thread's knowledge
some help for the defense... Alontae Taylor has been officially activated from IR and should play tonight
