I’ve seen all the post, good and bad. This isn’t a reactionary response. I’ve had plenty of time to think this through. Growing up a Saints fan we’ve obviously had plenty to give up on through the years. Never did.

The nations flag issue damn near broke me, didn’t watch any games that year. Then this game happpened. It was astounding how obvious the no call was. The fact that the referee booth had the ability to issue a “late flag”, and didn’t just shows the NFL’s corruption. I’m done ranting. I’m done period with this pathetic organization, no Super Bowls, I’ll be hunting or fishing somewhere else.

It's going to be tough to watch when I have very real and honest doubts about the integrity of the game.

There's no way I can do it if there isn't a significant overhaul to the replay and challenge system. And somebody's head needs to roll.

I’m with ya.

It’s not a competitive sport. It’s fake. It’s a farce.

I think they are well on their way if you ask me. Look at Zion Williamson at Duke. Tell me that ten years ago that guy isnt getting recruited at Bama FB instead of Duke BB? I think the guaranteed money in Baseball and Basketball is attracting more AA athletes than the NFL wants to admit.

Youth participation is down, while its up in Soccer and Baseball. Plus the whole concussion and flag kneeling thing. Yeah, it wont happen overnight, but these issues are just speeding its demise along. Especially when you consider that, on balance, the product on the field is not as good as it was even ten years ago.

And if thats not enough, the youth dont watch these things, even live and for free. You know what the youth do like though? Soccer. No commercials. Kids these days get confused AF when they see commercials thanks to Netflix. You know what soccer doesnt have for 45 minutes at a time? Commercials. No other major sport can say that.

And the fact that they’re real sports. Unlike the NFL.

THE NFL IS NOT A SPORT

Right there with you.

there are too many "coincidences" for what happened yesterday to be by chance.

Looks like I just got a bunch of time back on Sundays.

Me too. I'm over the NFL. I swore off the NBA after the refs let Shaq get away with murder against Arvidis Sabonis of the Trail Blazers.

I haven't watched a single NBA game since and never will.

The NFL killed one of my favorite sports. I don't know if I'm more mad or sad.

Frick them

i am still watching my celtics. Thank GOD for them. LSU is not serious about football anymore with their clowns in charge in admin and while the saints are serious the NFL won't allow it anymore. Goodell has hard on for us since 2012. football basically ruined for good in the NFL and until alleva and BOS system is overhauled for LSU .

i think the anger is gone and it is pure sadness now how this shite is allowed. i wish people would all give up their season tix and the NFL collapse. it is a oligarchy.

I'm with you. And the insurance market for football at all levels is drying up: LINK
I think this year was one last money grab by the league before it rolled off a cliff. They were getting desperate and it showed!

Haven’t bought a ticket, merchandise, and only began watching games again this year for my love of the Saints. I’d be more than capable to spend whatever I needed to Lester. Won’t now ever. You can skippy...
