So you can pay a lot less for similar production.

I hope not. Ireland has been landing DL guys like Okafor, Onyemata, Stallworth who produce for pennies on the dollar. I think the FO learned its lesson chasing big names.

Who? We need to add an interior lineman for next year. Not simply keep our best starters. Who out there would give us similar production for alot less? If they are out there go get them.

No doubt, and the DLine was really good, but it was hardly all-world. And if Rankins is going to have to work his way back up to full speed, getting someone who we know can do the job (like Suh) makes a lot of sense.

I'm all for it but he'll have to tell us what was said in the Rams locker room following the NFC Championship if I'm going to sign off on him coming here.

"Sean? You there? It's Mickey. Yeah, we're trying to sign suh, but this guy saturday on tigerdroppings just won't let us. My hands are tied."

exactly this ^^^^^^

he is a player passed his prime and has lost his desire to compete so most times he is just out there putting in partial effort

we dont need or want slackers without heart on our team

Suh just came in at #95 on PFF Top 101 players of 2018

quote:

After yet another dominant season and Super Bowl run with the Rams, Suh finished the year with an 83.0 overall grade, third-highest of his career. The free-agent-to-be excelled in run defense with an 88.7 grade against the run, 12th-best among interior defenders, and proved to still be a capable pass rusher with 55 total pressures.

The guy really did not turn it on till the playoffs. We’re gonna need big time, consistent D help during the regular season to stay competitive.

He proved this year he wasn’t worth the money. I was all for him last offseason, but he isn’t an impact guy and that is blatant.

Seriously? Our D was lights out outside of a few games last season. Suh isn’t fricking Stallworth. But he’s not Aaron Donald either.

Having said that, with a healthy Rankins, Suh’s addition would give us the scariest DL in the league.

I agree with this for the regular season but in the postseason he def had an impact. He played very well against us and the Patriots. He was destroying people. He owned Warford all night.

Yep... not sure we need him to get TO the playoffs but he would be a huge asset IN the playoffs if he really is one of those "I turn it on when the lights are brightest" kind of guys.
